I'm looking for my third title now, i was thinking fable 2 but seriously, how good is this game.

Is it still jokey and kiddy like fable 1?

I can't speak for other ppl, but I read/watch reviews to see what kind of bugs and glitches are in the game. I hardly ever agree with the editors that review these games, but I definitely don't want a game infested with so many glitches that it is hardly playable.

Fable 2 was decent. The game is structured well, but it's not really executed well. The combat system is almost perfect, but the enemies you face don't put up a challenge, and you can button mash your way to victory.

The world is immersing, but the way you interact with others is dull. The game should have been more like KotOR where you interact with others via a dialogue tree. Instead, you have to play a tedious timing mini-game over and over to get a wife. (Continued)

I mean this is probably my second go round at a game like this since like the first Legend of Zelda, so yeah I like the game... Pretty good story, just takes a while to get going... Was a bit for me. I have never played Fable (I or II) before, so it would have been a nice little touch to see the way our actions cause a reaction in the society but I never got a chance to come across that myself.

I think it's a shame but if no one else is bothered, then I suppose I must be over reacting a bit.

You have to get this or if you dont you need to get gears of war 2 but this will be worth money better i think but then again gears have live and its mint so its a hard choice if i was you i would get both :)

Playing this game by yourself is fun but, the game really shines when two can share the game. My gf and I live together and we're both equally addictive to the game. When we can't play our character because one of us is playing already we have the luxury of joining each other's game and gain xp. Which makes this game brilliant. There's nothing but promising things in store for this franchise. I advise you to play the short first Fable to get a knack for it and then decide to get Fable 2 or not.

i love the game, its awsome! however, Im getting this feeling that its on the short side - I heard the main quest is only 12 hours of game play. Im staying away from it for as long as possible. the other thing I noticed is that I seem to be almost indestructable. Although the combat has been a real blast! I overwhelm my enemies every time... I have noticed that but only because I'm grinding and power leveling. This game is like a fine wine, it needs to be sipped and enjoyed, not gulped and wasted. Playing this game on the same Xbox 360 with a friend is where it truly shines.
