I did the same thing a little over a year ago. I got rid of dozens of guns I never shot and that were nothing too special. It was partially to maximize quality and a little to abide with an agreement regarding an adoption.

I did the same thing to my collection about a year ago. Except most of my money went into proper training an ammo. Alot of guns are fun but shooting is by far more fun. Only thing I would suggest is try an sell them to individuals, gun shops beat you up. Good luck with it man, im hoping your gonna get a nice semi custom 1911 like a brown, Wilson, bear etc.

I mean is an Ed Brown really 3x better quality, because its 3x as much as most 1911s.
