What type of clams did u use? I make this but use canned chopped clams. I add pasta water to loosen it up but the canned clams also have juice. I enjoy this with lemon squeezed on it, try it.

I was wondering, what is the last thing you put into the vongole. It looks like a silver pen that you pressed down into the pan...it was after adding the salt...
