  • @MrSonic699 Sheesh. I truly hope your horrible attitude is a result of mistranslation. I like how you're trying to get exclusive access to a model I released already... That's your first mistake. Your second mistake is not even really trying to give constructive criticism, but perhaps your most staggering mistake is your third: You didn't even notice this video was made A YEAR AND A HALF AGO. I take my hat off to you, sir. You may or may not be a good animatior, I don't know. But you're a jerk.

  • I'd say to try to make the anims less jumpy, in the walking and running I notice that blaze's body rotates differently that sometimes makes it not-as-good.

    Other than that, it's pretty nice!

  • In the run I think it looks fine personally, but the walk... I think I'm gonna entirely redo it.

  • Something I notice in a lot of animations for Sonic Blitz characters that I suggest avoiding is something I like to call "Pendulum Syndrome." It's the tendency to make the legs of a character just swing back and forth under them. You want to avoid this at all costs. When you walk, you push OFF of the ground with every step, instead of your legs just swinging back and forth and you magically move forward. You see the difference? You don't have too much of it with Blaze here, but keep it in mind.

  • Yeah, I see what you mean now. I've definitely used that "syndrome". I normal animate the legs first. Thanks, I'll redo the walk to fit the ground, not the legs.
