I love this track... I was in 1970 and have a daughter who is now 18. We last went to see Nitzer Ebb a couple of years ago. As a dad, it doesn't get better than that!!
I am a child of industrial music... Seriously what happen to the evolution of this MUSIC .... I wasn't all into their words but, the music is where it was @. Were did music go wrong in the past years.... This music was the foundation for the future ....and now we are praising Justin Bieber and Britney Spears gets a life achievement award- what!?
kindwolf, you should maybe throw up Reasons. =) I have the ebbhead cd (I LOVE IT-still one of my most played cds) and I always look for Reasons and nobody has it up yet. The beat to that is worthy of the space. Please and thanks.
Whoa 3:05 and beyond sounds so familar! Ive heard this beat in many bands...I love finding the origin of where all the music Ive grow to love comes from!
Ok Im beggining to see the connection between Reznor and Nitzer Ebb. NB inspired (correct me if Im wrong) NIN or Trent or what? I was born in 86 and my mother in 54 she was into Def leppard and Whodini, music like that. Did they even have this music in american stores back then before the internet? Would have been a different story growing up with this good stuff!
@shondadon509 this stuff was in america, mtv played it and so did NIGHT TRACKS on TBS. back in the mid 80s to early 90s tv and radio used to actually play cool shit. then clearn channel/CBS bought everything and ruined it.
This was at one time my theme song. Whenever I was feeling insecure about doing something I would let this play in my stereo as loud as possible and got my God(dess)-complex on!
Nice to hear it is the real uncut version. Oberheim Xpander was one of there main sound sources/ synths. Listened to this stuff while 90s raving was going on.
bad ass fucken song, I am an 80's and very early 90's hardcore fan of alt rock and industrial rock and Nitzer Ebb is one of the best of this era!!!!!!!!! NIN still kicks ass also.
You have bitchin taste in music kindwolf1!!!!!!!!1
Hey kindwolf1--did you grow up in the 80's-and 90's? Sisters of Mercy, another great band of this era, Front 242, yeah! Renegade Soundwave, Lords of the New Church, oh so much good shit from this time period. This era has nothing as good, I think, anyhow.
I was born in 72, I got you by a 5 years. I also listen to lots of punk rock, Melvins, PIL,Minor Threat, Dk's, Fugazi,Primus, etc. I have tried listening to new artist that try to sound like some of these bands, just can't seem to get into it. I am stuck in this era of music, which I love. No offense to anyone that likes the music in todays time, each to there own. I think your on the other side of the world, right?
@brwnboy08 i love 80s all the way to 2005 music 2010 most artist dont even try anymore and their ads are spammed way to much i live in the middle of nowhere and see ads for artist i fcking hate all over

'Cause it's Krautrock,
and they're not pushing it next to the magazines,
while you wait in line at the grocery store or the convenience store,
or what have you

Honestly, Nitzer Ebb makes for some GREAT excercizing music! Never though EBM could work so well with intense squatting, haha.

I totally agree, that music seems to have to be from the 80-90´s to work.
Primus has some goldies.
I´m from the other side of the ocean at least..scandinavia.
