you know what I love about her...is she can still carry her emotions through her face while rounding her vowels and percing her lips, instead of singing with a flat almost closed mouth like so many contemporary artists feel the need to do because they fear looking silly. :p

It seems that many people don't understand the difference between a stage performance and a movie performance. When you are on-stage with people way up in the rafters squinting to see you, over-acting is a MUST. When you are watching a movie, every little motion is easily captured and conveyed to the audience. When you are in an audience of 1000 or even 100, every motion must be exaggerated in order for it to be properly conveyed.

@Brahmsfourth Hey, brahms have you heard Meryl Streep sing? She had a go with the ABBA songs. Now that is what you call annoying! I think , from looking at many of the Der Holle RACHE VIDS ON YOUTUBE, that what many lack is acting ability with the exception of Diana Damrau. It is as though many of the sopranos have spent so much time and effort on their singing and have been told...character...just wing it, make it up as you go! cases in point-Cristina Deutekom, Nat Dessay, Gruberova.

Okay, Okay! No one sings this better than Cecilia Bartolli. However, this spicy diva is a hoot! I absolutely love her performance quality and the choreography had me in stitches. I really also appreciate her diction. She has a really nice natural tone to her voice. I bet she's a freak in the bedroom. I certainly hope so! And the wind, btw, perfect!

Ich habe das noch nie mit einer so schlampigen Stimmführung gehört! Ist ja furchtbar! Hochgequetschte Bruststimme, wackliges waberndes hochgeschliffenes unverbundene Kopfregister. Wechseln wir ins Operettenfach? Alles was sie mit der Stimme nicht mehr ausdrücken kann fummelt sie mit den Händen rum.Wenn sie weiter so forciert hat sie in 3 Jahren keine Stimme mehr.
