i was thinking of using rubber cement instead of masking fluid on watercolor paper... have you ever tried that? and if so, did it tear the paper? I'm worried the rubber cement might be too strong and thick.
Like I was saying... I just bought some masking fluid and this would work really well on a project like this. Was only going to use it on bits and pieces but now you have given me more to think about. Awesome. Many thanks.
What if you use rubber cement on a non-glossy-rather coarse paper?
can you still peel it off, or will it stay on the paper?

I am not sure about using rubber cement on the watercolor paper, I would think it would tear.
