Second comment here. Started to play this game thanks to an ISO. It's really difficult because you have to trade-paint & block your rivals in order to win, like in Bakusou Dekotora Densetsu. Currently i have a heavily modded Toyota 1600GT. There's not too much katakana-barrier, all you have to do is trial & error through the menus.

Yep same one. Were you able to finish the career mode? Japanese language barrier, I can't finish it.

The language barrier was indeed hard to overcome, and i never finished the game but rather just did the odd race for a bit of fun.

fantastic nostalgic trip through one of the undoubted highlights of historic gaming which has slipped the "major sales" net?

Looks like the best game ever! lol and anyone who learns to drive a toyota corrolla like a ferrarri gets my vote (although you might want to get out more!)

The film of the old cars is superb! where did you get that?

hell they might be able to convert those models into the game, they have for every other title I own lol (GTL,GTR2, F1GP etC)

A great game, however story mode is in Japanese so I can't progress on it. The car BTW is an early 70's Mazda Familia racing against an early Datusn,

With regards to the film, that's the intro movie. A nice touch to this is every car in the game has its own FMV. Got this game from Gameland, they're the only store in the US with the largest collection of Japanese games.
