no, on their myspace, it says you just have to join the kababayan group at uci, which is filipino and asian, but you dont have to be any particular nationality to join the group or kaba modern...

there was a black guy and even a persian girl in this video. and this was only 6 groups out of all the other groups. this is just the returning kaba people. if you look at the other audition videos, you can see other races besides asians. race has no boundaries in dancing.
