Oh I see now, yeah you're right.

I'm trying to learn the shuffle at the moment from watching YouTube tutorials. It's pretty hard for an old skool guy like me, I feel like an uncoordinated idiot, but I'll get there, lol. Stomping is a lot easier but it's good because you can put more hand movement into it as well.

Shuffling is good for a climax moment. I think what I'd do is stomp during the general slower moments of a song and then start shuffling when it goes really hard!

You should do it the other way around.

And the shuffle and stomp don't exactly mix very well. As you need a faster beat for the stomp to dance comfortable then for the shuffle. =)

And don't worry I felt like an uncontrolled fuck as well when I started the shuffle and the stomp ;)

Doesn't matter what "style" it is...nobody is just locked into one style. Dancing is a way of EXPRESSING YOURSELF individually, and everyone makes up their own style and own way of moving.

We don't have to all dance the same or just stick to one genre, whether it be melbourne shuffle, brisbane stomp, jumpstyle, tecktonik, whatever.

The best dancer can master all styles and make it their own. The most awesome dancer is one who can switch it up, all into one fluid set of moves and expression!
