I like the short verson better. it's faster and much more upbeat, and this one...seems to drag a bit.

That's because it's a workshop, it's not as finished, not as put together, the singer is doesn't have it memorized, and they're trying to sell the show, so most faster songs are slowed down a bit to make everything easier and clearer

i think the better version is the short one. cuz this, while clever and great lyrics, it seems to go on and on for a fast pace situation.
