@tjfan48 - Intimidator Scan LED is a discontinued item. Technically, it doesn't have a shutter or dimmer, but it will strobe. Check out Intimidator Scan LED 100, 200 or 300. These are current products which feature electronic dimming and don't need a shutter due to LED technology (the physical shutter is not needed since the LED can be turned on/off).

@COCHEPRIN Both fixtures you mentioned are scanners. The Initimidator Scan LED 100 is our latest model, alongside the 200 and 300.

heyy, i Got an acme dynatwin... and the mirror motor on it is extreme shit :( They are really jittery and not very proffesional. until the other day i thought they wer awesome....... until i had a play around with 2 martin mania scx scanners, these martin scanners wer suprisingly bright and really smooth. would i be better off selling my dynatwin, and getting 2 of these???? Thanks

the only problem is that the last two sliders are pan and tilt..... I perfer the first two sliders (DMX MODE)

So I finally got them this past week, except I go to plug them in and only one of them is working.. Not very impressed. Anybody else having trouble with them? When I look inside through the top vent I can see a green led in the working one and it isn't on in the one that isn't working..

@chauvetlighting lights look great but i would nto call the service department that fantastic. my friend had trouble with his omega ii and he called you guys up and the guy didn't help at all. just told him to ship the lights down to get fixed and mentioned that you guys charge by the hour to fix a light.

Hey was wondering if anyone has gotten one yet? it doesnt look anywhere close to as bright as the hti!! we dont do alot of events with smog so the htis work great.. so any info on brightness please let me know

So this light has a gobo spin effect? Meaning that the pattern rotates (as opposed to rotating colors, etc.) ? If so, I'm curious why that wasn't shown in the video. ... which makes me wonder.

They have a user manual on their site. I *think* I remember seeing something about that, but you might want to download the pdf yourself to double check. Maybe the manual said: "this light definitely ain't got pan/tilt inversion." I could also be imagining stuff.

Yes, this unit can strobe on DMX channel 1 for this unit and you can control the speed of the strobe.

Yes, the Intimidator™ Scan LED does have stepper motors. It has the capability to slowly scan across the crowd.The controller has to have the ability to control the fade time between scenes when you are running the chase.
