Firstly why did it take 20 years to bring this up.The ''Milco'' thing went on for 20 years,we used to use it in school,when someone did something we used to say ''Milco'' did it.

There has been a few things that didn't make any sense.How can Colleen and Alf be half brother and sister when there was a storyline that Alf was dating Colleen's long lost daughter Maureen.She would have been Alfs niece.

Secondly there was never any mention of Alan Fisher having a child before the Seb Miller thing.?

They didn't change the past - that's what's so great about this storyline. They didn't change one single thing that happened. They just filled in the gaps a bit.

I think that turning an imaginary friend into a real brother *is* a change of the past. But this doesn't really matter. Stranger things have happened, especially on H&A. And if the storyline was good, that's what matters.

They didn't change anything though lol. It's not like a wizard came to Summer Bay and decided to change Sally's childhood invisable friend into a real guy. He was always a real guy. All that happened was we didn't previously know this, but now we do. But nothing actually changed other than truths being discovered.

In my opinion, they changed something because they, if you like, changed their minds. They did decide to change the history because they changed not only what we knew, but what the writers themselves knew in 1988. It's not like this was some hidden truth that existed all along - somebody has a new idea and saw that it could work. And of course, suddenly Sally wasn't really an orphan etc. It could have been a different "truth" discovered had somebody has a different brainwave.

Oh I completely agree "they changed their minds" (the writers), because like you said it was a new idea. But that's offscreen. Your first post made it sound like they disrespected the show's ONscreen history which they didn't because it kept inline 100% with what we knew of the characters' pasts. It just filled in the gaps a bit. It changed what we knew in the sense that it gave us new information, but not in the sense that they rewrote stuff. Hard to explain but i hope you see what I mean lol.

Lol yes, I understand what you mean :) And you're right that they haven't changed things that we saw on-screen, not like that ep, for example, when Alf was talking to someone (Shane perhaps?) and telling him how he excited he was watching Duncen's birth - whereas in fact Alf was lost at sea at the time...

Lol well scripts change. Take the twin girls who were on home and away. I forgot their names but remember how one was trapped below and the other could sense where the other twin was. Later down the track they find out their not twins
