I am a Chippewa Indian Elder, and I still do not know what being an American Indian feels l like.

I have always just felt like an Anishinaabe, Human Being.

Well, I'm Canadian. And I feel like a Maritimer out West, here, in Alberta. I've been here for a year.

I'm from Saint John, NB...90% of us are Irish. And I don't feel like I belong in the Western culture. I'm more used to Maine, Mass, etc. Closer to the same culture. Even though they're American.
