@DethGibson I'd say the Arai Vector 2 is a better match for sport riding on your 848. Its ventilation, aerodynamics, and quiet qualities are optimized for a sport riding position.
@smashy122 Not particularly. They are both pretty similar in head-shape, however, the RX-Q looks and feels a bit smaller. That gives it the advantage in regards to aero-dynamics.
is this a helmet i could use on my r6 ? i do mostly just streetriding. not so much track. but thinking of trying some track days in summer, but mostly i do street rides and long rides.. is this a helmet that would fit me u think? its not that warm here in norway so ventilation or airflow isnt that important as long as it doesnt fog to much, but i like light weight and quiet and stability.. is this something u would prefer? =D
Hi, great review! I was wondering if you would recommend this helmet for long distance, adventure, dual sport riding more then the xd3? Thanks

@enfermoXR6 Totally man! This is the bomb sport touring helmet.

how do you think the RX-Q would work on something like the ninja 250r or triumph speed triple?
curtmastor 5 months ago
@curtmastor Great! It's an all around performer for sure.

Is the RX-Q rounder than the RF-1100?

I was just curious i am going to be getting an FZ6 do you think this will work for the upright riding position?
tufmandan 9 months ago
@tufmandan Yes, the RX-Q helmet works quite well for the upright riding position whereas the Vector 2 suits a sportier posture.

@RevZillaTV Thanks for the quick response! :) Great video as well.

@m3g1 I think the Arai Vector 2 is probably the better option for street/sport riding on an R6.

billysgeo 10 months ago
@billysgeo Yes, both the cheekpads and the liner are removable and washable.

Which do you think is better, this one or the Shoei RF-1100?
kasushi 2 years ago
@kasushi whichever fits yer head better :)
the rf1100 has great venting and is pretty quiet
plus its nice n sleek with how they did the vents
it was nice n stable for me as well
its a bit more egg shaped if u look at the opening
the chin area tapers more than the rxq
the rxq is an intermediate oval, but feels much more roomier side to side than the rf1100
also, the rf1100 uses a lot of individual shell sizes
so if u get a small, but think mebbe you need more room, u cant put medium pads in it

i would go with the arai over the rf-1100.
