Anytime You Need A Friend is on of my top 5 favourite Mariah songs. The Gospel of her voice, the choir, the passion in her whistle, the strength of her belting; everything worked. Leona would sound amazing doing a cover of that song!
Nah she didnt the whole "Divas"(I use this term lightly now)show was soooo boring. It just goes to show you there will never be another whitney,mariah,aretha ect.
i don't think so her previous singles have done good especially Bleeding Love and like 90% of her performances are good and 10% bad and Leona actually doesn't sound that bad flat
"Happy" is not anywhere close as as BL or BIT. This is a fact. Now for leona being flat I mean is that she falls off key to often and it's because she doesn't have much control over her voice.
I think it is imo it shows the best of her vocals and everybody has been giving it good reviews and even Perez has posted about it. About her voice i think its good to have a different vocal tone all the time than to have the same vocal range so yeah i think its good if she can't control it.

yea like when she was singing in the live shows of the x factor I thought it was brilliant...and now what are they tryna do to her...muck up her microphone and give her weird songs.
I agree i think she could pull it off, people slate her and say oh she can never do mariah or whitney but on the x factor she did the best versions or mariah and whitney songs ive ever heard anyone do bar whitney and mariah. She did whitney proud with her i have nothing and she did mariah proud with her without you (even though mariah technically covered it). If leona can pull of whitney mariah and celine it shows she got some major skills
