I think you have a solid enough fan base now to consider letting them vote on your next project. It seems that your capabilities are basically limitless, so that would be a cool way to give the people what they want. Whatever song gets the most votes would be done next. I've I had a vote, I'd say Kashmir. I know it's pretty keyboard-laden, but it's about the best representation of what Zep was about (within the confines of just one song).
I love you guys, but I'm going to be 100% honest here. The reason I watch Virtual Zeppelin is so I see how each part is played by great musicians. If I wanted to watch over produced video's, I could find that all day on youtube. Please don't take it as an insult, but more of a criticism that you guys need to go back to what you normally do... The problem with these guys getting together and playing live is complicated by the fact that jun626 lives in Japan, I do believe. I agree though, that these guys would rock the house. I saw Zoso last night here in Lexington KY and they were good, but nowhere near this good!
Comparing VZ to a band like ZOSO is nuts.Everything that VZ has posted on the net has been great. BUT this is NOT 'live' playing.This is a studio recording done remotely. ZOSO has to play 16-18 tunes a night live with four players. VZ sometimes has six guitar parts multitracked on some songs. ZOSO has to get it right the first time every show. VZ can rerecord parts over and cut and paste parts together to get a perfect copy. Nothing wrong with VZ but its not live playing.
@curt0803, Zoso is the worst of the Zeppelin tribute bands. This version of Misty Mountain is a recreation of the studio version, not one of the live versions. You could cut and paste a crappy band like Zoso all day and it would never sound anything like VZ.
Each to their own Charles as you didnt tell us who you think is a better or best tribute band (that actually plays live gigs) I dont know the value of your opinion. My point was (no matter the name of the tribute band) that you cannot compare live performing (not the VERSION of the song man the PROCESS of uninterrupted unedited live playing) with a processed studio recording (which is what this is). Surely you understand that without my explaining it.
@curt0803, Zep live didn't sound like Zep studio because studios afford more options than live, so what? Both Zep and VZ used multi-tracking. You are speculating when you suggest what either band may have done in the studio. The bottom line is, with similar equipment they are producing nearly the same result. Regarding who is better than Zoso, who isn't? "Vermeer", "Boot Led Zeppelin", "Get The Led Out", "Custard Pie", "Led Zepagain" etc. A better question might be who's worse than Zoso?

I was merely suggesting that you couldnt compare VZ and ZOSO (and by inference any other ZEP Tribute who plays live) because VZ is just that (its VIRTUAL ..thus the name). Did you just look at some list of ZEP Tributes? With exception of Led Zepagain I wonder about your taste?

that inspired me to take up guitar and still play today with a Classic Rock covers band

The problem with these guys getting together and playing live is complicated by the fact that jun626 lives in Japan, I do believe. I agree though, that these guys would rock the house. I saw Zoso last night here in Lexington KY and they were good, but nowhere near this good!

Comparing VZ to a band like ZOSO is nuts.Everything that VZ has posted on the net has been great. BUT this is NOT 'live' playing.This is a studio recording done remotely. ZOSO has to play 16-18 tunes a night live with four players. VZ sometimes has six guitar parts multitracked on some songs. ZOSO has to get it right the first time every show. VZ can rerecord parts over and cut and paste parts together to get a perfect copy. Nothing wrong with VZ but its not live playing.

@curt0803, Zoso is the worst of the Zeppelin tribute bands. This version of Misty Mountain is a recreation of the studio version, not one of the live versions. You could cut and paste a crappy band like Zoso all day and it would never sound anything like VZ.

Each to their own Charles as you didnt tell us who you think is a better or best tribute band (that actually plays live gigs) I dont know the value of your opinion. My point was (no matter the name of the tribute band) that you cannot compare live performing (not the VERSION of the song man the PROCESS of uninterrupted unedited live playing) with a processed studio recording (which is what this is). Surely you understand that without my explaining it.

@curt0803, Zep live didn't sound like Zep studio because studios afford more options than live, so what? Both Zep and VZ used multi-tracking. You are speculating when you suggest what either band may have done in the studio. The bottom line is, with similar equipment they are producing nearly the same result. Regarding who is better than Zoso, who isn't? "Vermeer", "Boot Led Zeppelin", "Get The Led Out", "Custard Pie", "Led Zepagain" etc. A better question might be who's worse than Zoso?

Ok Ill make this simple for you Charles. I was responding to somebody named sewdog who said that they thought ZOSO was the best UNTIL they heard VZ. I didnt bring up ZOSO ...Sewdog did. I was merely suggesting that you couldnt compare VZ and ZOSO (and by inference any other ZEP Tribute who plays live) because VZ is just that (its VIRTUAL ..thus the name). Did you just look at some list of ZEP Tributes? With exception of Led Zepagain I wonder about your taste?

Are you really this slow or only pretend to be? Which part of 'I didnt bring up ZOSO ...Sewdog did' failed to get through to you? You're hung up about that band. I'm not. My point one more time for the slow guy is that its not fair to compare live playing bands to virtual ones who can spend a thousand hours making one track perfect. No speculation. Difference is that the technology that jun626 has to work with makes what Page had in the 70's look primitive by comparison.

More importantly, if modern technology really could make anyone sound like Zep, everyone would and recent music by Page and Plant would sound more amazing than their old stuff you stupid fuck. Are you now also claiming to know all their schedules? LMAO, Even if one of those bands works less than Zoso I am sure they make a hell of a lot more money when they do.

I love it when you start arguing and cursing with yourself about the obvious! Of course people still have to be talented. Heck lets be honest. James is what really sets VZ apart. He's better than Plant was when Robert was still any good. But you dont really believe that's his "natural" sounding voice on this track do you? As for things like schedules.You got me curious Charles. so I went to their WEBSITES and checked tour dates. Google is your friend Charles.

There's a reason why I asked if you just found a list of names of tribute bands. With the exception of Led Zepagain the rest of these groups have real problems mostly the singers. Apparantly its not just me who thinks that since if you look at their work schedule you consistently find bands maybe getting two dates a month.ZOSO seems to work Wed thru Sat pretty consistently. So apparantly promoters club owners and fans disagree with your view. Wonder Why?
