I saw him in concert 5 times. I loved him. He was the greatest male vocalist of all time. All of his songs really touch me. It is so painful to hear his song about dancing with my father. I cry every time. That is real power in the songs he sang and their lyrics. He never missed whether he was with :change" or a solo performer. He left us way too soon!

I saw this man in concert a good few years back and I have never left a concert so exhilarated and on such a high.

He sung every song pitch-perfect and sung with such feeling, what a talented man.

I was very lucky to have seen him before he sadly passed away - his songs always bring a smile to my face, he may not have been on this earth long, but he shone very brightly.

There are many things in this world that divide us but music is one of the few things that bring us together.

Luther Vandross never got the props he deserved. I mean, people knew him...but the world didn't know him like they know a Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Usher Raymond, etc. But truth be told, he could easily out-sing your favorite singer!!! Dude's vocal range was so good that he would style with it...like riding a bike with no hands! I really miss this cat, but am thankful that he produced a HUGE catalog worth of material.
