Nice work. I did a little bit of powerlifting about a year ago and was making steady progress and by the end i was at around 900lbs in the same class as you so you are doing very well. My bench was my weak point though. My max was only 200 when i stopped lifting but I made tons of progress from where I started. Good work and keep it up.
Ah, I think I see how these things work. You combine all the weights that you successfully lift, and then you're scored on an overall total weight? Hmm.. I guess I wouldn't do very well hah. Would probably get about... 700 or 800 pounds xP
trying to stay on it, started recently dead lifting, I can do 255 with pauses about 5 times for 2 sets. Squat just started too, about 185, same amount. Bench i'm at 185 5x3
I'd recommend the starting strength program. Google "Starting Strength Wiki," and you'll find everything you need. It will get your lifts strong, fast.
damn bro your lower body is strong as hell but what is up with that bench press?

=O I weigh 145 and I'm benching probably around 205. Thats the only lift I'm good at though. Do you think I'd do well in a competition??

on ur squats you are going down pretty fast, doesn't that make it harder on the way up ?
IndependentALEX 2 years ago
Nah, it gives me more rebound on the way back up. Normally my descent is the same speed as my ascent.

I would reccommend they get a new calling judge. he was taking his sweet time giving the commands. Someone needs to tell him to speed it up a bit

very very impressive squat and dead lift. Any tips on improving them for novice lifters?
