On a happier note, this should be our national anthem. It is a song that displays the beauty of our land. The Star Spangled Banner just talks about stupid war, which, for the record, some Americans hate and disagree with, myself included! Frank Sinatra does a great job of painting the beauty here in America.

This is our national hymn, while the Star Spangled Banner is our national anthem. Who cares if our national anthem "talks" about war? The French national anthem talks about blood stained hills, so ours is better in comparison. Not all war is stupid; would you prefer if there was no American Revolution? Because of that war, we have our freedom, and without it we would be subject to the same restrictive laws as the British.

I agree, the Star Spangled Banner is not a very good song especially because it is about one particular battle in the war of 1812, a rather insignificant event in our nations history. Our anthem should be about the wonders and beauty of our country and not about rockets and bombs.
