  • Daddy can we go outside? NO!

  • this flu is bad for people who have a comprimised sytem, like preme-babies.

or elderly who have something real bad like emphasemia -something - but if your normaly healthy-just take medicine.

its the vaccine im scared of. it has mercury in it ,and i read it comes from monkeys liver.

and not that im scared of animal medicine but the company is secretive.

and so many stories about degenerative diseases when you get the shot.

    garlic+onion+honey +echanacia+astragalus.<the best

  • hi, i live in new york city and i had a real bad flu in august. it was so bad i couldnt really breath right when laying down.

i had the flu before when i was young but this one was different. it felt different.

long story short,i took equal amounts of garlic and onion and made an extract out of the 2 3 months before- i took it for 3 days -3 times a day -1tblsp -it went away.

never got it again. oh yeah -plus i added honey to the extract after. so dont worry about it.

  • Great ideas...good every one of them. We carry the small salt and pepper shakers that hold half of each in 2 sides. Both hubby and I have them and boy have they come in handy. You can put other things in them as well. They are very compact and fit into a pocket even with sealable lids. Cheap too as the $ store carries them.

  • hankparish.....that's a pretty niave statement.....kids have been dying here in Canada.....4 I know of that has been reported in the past week.....and that's just the ones I have heard about.....That is not including the adults. do you think we are still "safe"?

  • BLESS YOU!

  • Go Jackets!!!! lol

  • Sounds like you have it all together.

  • Thx 4 the tips. Never thought about how much soap they should use, but don't.

  • all these flus are just like a normal flu.. youd only have to be worried if you live in a contry that doesint have good hospitals like mexico if you live in the states or canada ull be fine...

  • you know, it might be a good idea to just avoid resturants altogether.

  • 800 have died from swine flu around the world and it's a pandemic? something wicked this way comes, me thinks. when you're in a publick restroom wash your hands w/ soap, dry w/ paper towel, use that towel to turn off the water and shut off light and open door. also, wash hands after getting food from buffet table.

  • never thought about the salt and pepper shakers....thanks!!!

  • We should thank God that this "dangerous pandemic" has turned out to be ,apparently, a matter of flawed early reporting from Mexico .....but since we all know there's bound to be a serious one at some point (or maybe H1N1 will mutate???)....Thanks for this excellent primer. This kind of practial information's not available ,other places.

  • A journalist has filed charges w/the FBI for TERRORISM and ATTEMPTED MASS MURDER against Baxter, Obama, Rumsfeld, WHO, UN, pharmaceutical co's, Pilosi, and so on - for introduction of H1N1 into human flu vaccines in Europe. Factual evidence is overwhelming, that this is an intentional introduction.

google "Journalist Files Charges against WHO and UN for Bioterrorism" will get it.

  • Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding.

I am grateful for this video and it will probably change my attitude and my use of salt shakers.

  • i really liked the salt and pepper shaker hint...never thought of that. thanks!

  • I use two different strategies here- either wrap a napkin around them, or hold the shaker between your ring finger and middle finger. These fingers rarely touch the food. Then wash well afterward. You can also ask for plastic silverware, most places will have it specifically for take out food. Think about it- utensils that have been in 200 or 300,000 other people's MOUTHS or new plastic fork and spoon in a sealed wrapper? :) Thanks for watching.

  • Updated 11:AM May 14, 2009 from CDC - US CASES ALONE rise to 4,298 "confirmed" cases.

U.S. Human Cases of H1N1 Flu Infection

(As of May 14, 2009, 11:00 AM ET) States* Confirmed and Probable Cases Deaths

    47 states* 4,298 cases 3 deaths

  • May 14th. In addition, Mexico now has almost 2500 cases and 60 deaths.

Fact is that this is NEW strain and is easily spread in the air and this is the just the start.

I pray it does not mutate into a more deadly(higher mortality rate) in the Fall.

But, it is CERTAIN it will be here in the Fall 2009 - in one form ..or another.

  • Thank you for the updates!

  • Many kudos!

  • xD rabid chicken monkeys!

  • One good lesson from the last week or so- can't trust the media. On one hand they make it out like this is nothing, another day they say 2,200 cases of it and 150 hospitalized.

  • Over 6,000 cases now. About 10% require hospitalization..about 1% die.

It is very strange that the media has virtually stopped reporting on H1N1.

So, I keep up with statistics myself on the CDC and WHO websites.

  • May 14 (Bloomberg) Drugmakers may start plans to produce a vaccine for the swine flu, which health experts say causes higher rates of pneumonia and other complications than the seasonal strain.

  • May 14, WHO, the Geneva-based United Nations health agency, says the virus that has spread to 33 countries may touch off the first flu pandemic since 1968 and is more dangerous than the germs that cause seasonal epidemics, which kill 250,000 to 500,000 people each year. This virus is as severe as the 1957 Asian flu pandemic that caused about 2 million deaths. In Mexico 3 of 5 develop viral pneumonia and other life-threatening complications.

    This is very, very unusual,

    Clearly Different

  • alot of great points here ..although i would argue the distilled or bottled water theory there has been tests done that prove almost every dangerous chemical found in tap water is also found in bottled distilled water...i would suggest a system that takes the moisture directly out of the air ...the water is structured chemical free and as cheap as the electric to run on after the initial purchase.. i love what u do .god bless

  • 100 ratings spot on . exact same as what i am thinking, including the bible bits. I have heard very little encouraging information that this will just go away in the past week. Media in UK are smoothing over coverage today, its hardly touched in main news, but i am not taing my eye offf it for a minute. I've got a feeling you aren't either.. their figures are all over the place they dont seem to add up or be coherent much! there is univerSAl vulnerability to infection.

  • great vid Rob thanks!

  • great video great advice thank you, god bless

  • Good advice. I know how bad the flu can get. It is not yr average 48 hour discomfort - it HITS the LUNGS immediately and hard.

It never hurts to be prepared. Even if this virus appears to die out or subside this summer - it is NOT GONE. Learn and prepare now for the Fall of 2009 when H1N1 surfaces again.

I have a box of disposable vinyl gloves in my car for the gas pump handles. I went to store yesterday - ALL SOLD OUT of alcohol-based gel hand sanitizers. Wonder if I can make some?

  • As always good common sense advice!!

    .

  • One important thing you forgot is that people need to remember to NOT touch their faces, mouths, noses, eyes, or open sores, this is how bacteria gets in. Good point on the wipes, most stores now provide them for free. .... we need to use them, take a couple , wipe the cart and keep a few and just wipe your hands periodically through the store ........ good video, not just for swine flu but for overall good health.

  • "If your wife doesn't want to move and your not the head of your family." That gave me a laugh. Thanks for the great info I love watching your videos.

  • Most families have NO leadership or the wife is a Jezebel and the husband is neutered. Not saying a woman CAN'T lead, but so many men tiptoe around their wives instead of leading their families. A survival situation requires real leadership of the family, not metrosexual neutered men. The media has helped promote this image of the father of a family being a bumbling idiot that slips on banana peels- think Homer Simpson, Al Bundy, etc. It's time for men to well... MAN UP. LOL :)

  • I think too though some of the backlash on this thought of men being strong and leading, is assuming because their is a strong man that means the woman is submissive. I'm a very strong minded woman and I love my strong (mentally and physically) husband. The Jezbel comment lol, there are plenty of male Jezebels too.

  • I agree on the male Jez's. :)

  • I agree what does my being a strong man who takes care of his family have to do it. My wife could just as well take care of us if I was to get hurt or injured. She is a very smart, strong woman. We work together as husband & wife to make the most of our lives. We read, learn, love, prepare, build, shoot... together. I am not so "manly" I can't cook, sew, etc... and she is not "effeminate" she can't work on the truck, build, etc...

  • It was about leadership of the family. Read the story of Ahab and Jezebel. Ahab was the "official" king but Jezebel effectively ruled the kingdom. MANY families are this way today. You see it all the time on the message boards, guys come with stuff like "My wife won't LET me buy food" "my wife won't LET me buy TP", etc. I wonder if their wife will "LET" them survive! Their needs to be effective leadership of the family, most families don't have that.

  • Also, you need to get past the media indoctrination on this. No one is saying that a woman is less than a man. Quite the contrary. We are to "love our wife as Christ loved the church" i.e, be ready to DIE for her. But -and this is the part that makes people anxious- women are supposed to reverence their husband. Women need love, men need respect. Even the secular marriage councilors understand this. That's good that your wife is your partner in preps, that's the way it should be!

  • what is g-d ?

  • God. Some folks do that for reverence I believe. In Old Testament times a lot of folks wouldn't use the Lord's name at all. When Moses was sent to the children of Israel he asked God- "who shall I say sent me?" God replied "I AM"

Kinda interesting story you can find in Exodus.

  • board up your houses pull out your shotguns and get ready

  • I can survive due to the grace of G-d. My loved ones will survive. I am in prayer. I know the power of Psalm 91-If we go to G-d, humble ourselves, and fast. We will be spared. Thankyou Y'eshua.

  • Amen to that. "He who dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence"

NOTE THE WORD "Surely" :) Read the whole Psalm, it's a warrior's prayer.

  • I am j/w, why do you not spell out G-d???

  • The name of G-D is too holy to write in some people's opinions, therefore some people use G-D.

  • cause i guess he dont know how to spell god lol so what do u think of this swine virus that is going around im scared and fearing for my kids and my life and husband's life and my familys life too

  • not to mention the people preparing your food at that fast food place will be sick first because most of them are teenagers who attend public schools and do not practice good hygiene. Also fast food managers only care about getting product out not the health condition of there employees

  • not buyin the swine flu fear tactics, I think it'll blow over too ... it could be used as a catalyst for quarantine and reduction of civil liberties. I stay prepared for both ... thanks for another great survival report.

  • Good work! 5*****s.

  • haha, little jimmy can die or learn to like it.

  • Well I didn't mean it quite like it came out. I'm just always floored when folks that call themselves survivalists have kids that will "only" eat this or that cooked in a certain pan, served on a certain dish , etc. etc. You have to teach your family to be flexible ahead of time, not after the fact.

  • no I know, I just thought that part was funny, I know it's not a laughing matter, and I agree, anyone who is trying to survive needs to learn to start adjusting their indoctrinated chilren to be more realistic.

  • podmena traffica test of Good info. I have most of my preps but now I need to build up immune system. Thanks posting this video.

  • let me tell you this....

one of the reason WHY I wasn't as freaked out with all of this "swine flu" hoopla is because I listened to video such as yours that showed proper ways to store food with O2 absorbers and mylars. I was prepared a while back and so it took all of the fear of "not having anything" in the liklihood that grocery stores shut down out of my mind....

So it's helpful to learn how to prep the right way, can your food, grow veggies

Thanks for quoting Revelation 18 too!

  • 5stars. Been gone for awhile good to hear your vids again.

  • thats why we prepare, to take the fears out of the unknown.

  • Shop in off hours. 24x7 stores make it easier to do that. Also, consider where the produce comes from.

  • rabid chicken monkeys ,,, that is funny....

yes sir prep is the key, not only for the physical but the spiritual as well.... time is getting short

  • Shop at night or early in the morning

  • Raw food is the bomb.

  • I don't recommend any eating out where food is prepared by someone else.

    Peace & Stay Safe

  • Wow, good stuff to think about and act on. Down here in Texas, they've closed the entire Fort Worth school system until May 11. It's hitting hard and fast.

  • Thanks for the info. We had our first case in Georgia today. We are staying home for at least the next 4 days, see how it goes. Plenty of homestead work to be done anyhow! :)

  • Can anyone tell me how long Bleach lasts? I have some old stock (oops, lost track of it) and am wondering if it's still potent enough to use for anything. Thanks.

  • I would rotate regular bleach every year or so. You can also store DRY sodium hypochlorite for pool care use.

  • I want to thank you. After watching your videos we started to stock up on food and other supplies. If the flu comes to our area we can stay at home and not have to risk being exposed to the flu by going to the store . Thanks again

  • I prefer a bullet to the head myself; it's a well know cure for any disease.

(*WARNING* bullets may cause dizziness, bleeding and not living any more. If you experiance any of these side effects, please contact a doctor emediately).

  • Thanks so much! I appreciate your no nonsense approach to this situation. I hope that it does not get as bad as all that, but I am glad I have gotten a lot of what you recommended already. The idea of setting up a "sick aunt" you might have to visit is great idea!

  • Yes sir. Yes sir.... I agree 100%. Thank you for the information as always. 5 *'s

If you don't mind, gonna put a link to your website on my next vid. Good stuff.

  • Awesome, thanks for the advice.

  • 5 ***** Thank You

  • your videos are always awesome! keep em comin

  • Great info thanks

I find thinking like the Monk helps :)

from what i hear the second wave will be the one to wach out for

"And I heard another voice from heaven saying, 'Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities'" (Revelation 18:4,5

  • We're all gonna die........Except me...I'm gonna live forever in a land without rules....My only problem is going to be when the dead start coming back to life.........I saw it in a movie

  • Thanks! Was trying to keep it down to just one video and time limit is usually less than 10 minutes, so I was moving quick. Thanks for watching, stay safe!

  • Good video! The bleed time is a full minute (11:00 total) so if you need to upload 10:58 of length it will work.

  • Thank you. I've had problems putting anything over 10 minutes on here before. I appreciate this info.

  • don't forget about paper cash, the virus can linger on money itself and cash is constantly circulating.

Also the buttons if you use debit

  • Correct. That's the one good thing about so few people actually carrying and using cash any more!!! Always carry a pen for signing CC receipts, writing your check, etc.
