Is anyone surprised by this? New York, and everyone in it, has no class. Shouldn't they be celebrating that they won, rather than disrespecting and trashing the merchandise of the team they beat? Greatness...pure BX Bomber greatness! What an awesome night that was on November 4th, 2009 (right into Nov. 5th, baby)!

It is too bad they had to torch that particular Phillie-cream cheese jersey--that 1970's powder-blue joint is probably one of the better ones (the best, IMHO) in their sleepy history (since 1883!). Their jersey from the 1976 bi-centennial year (with the zip-up) is my all-time favorite. BUT, they sucked when it counted most, in the 2009 Series! And that's why we're GREAT! :)
