@ssj4goko4 thats odd, because my local walmart tests the fire alarms on a monthly basis. they announce over the PA prior to the test, and the alarm goes off for less then 5 seconds.

@zachmamaw I think our middle school's going to have to replace their 1998 Johnson Control Fire Alarm System. It's easy for the fire alarm to activate during drills, but it's hard to turn it off and reset it.

@zachmamaw Have you ever heard of the FCI FocalPoint? The funny thing is my brother's school is getting a new fire alarm system and their fire alarm system that they have now is pretty new. It has Wheelock NS,MT 24-LSMs, RSS, and Simplex Tru Alerts.

@SpecializedChild462 I went to a swim meet at a newly renovated school with a simples system. It had tru alerts, quick connects and for how big the building was, that panel was probably a 4100. The annunciator posted by the entrance was buzzing when we left.
