  • I'm thinking of inventing a new style it will be called BJJ (Bulgarian Ju Jitsu)

It will concentrate on groundfighting, will have no use whatsoever on the street as self defense, will be only for the ring competition but i will promote it as the best fighting self defense system on the planet.

It will include new techniques like cross arm bar, arm entanglement, Kimura, Crucifix, triangle etc... Appreciate any feedback? Maybe it's already been done andd i've missed the videos of it on youtube.

  • fuk ive watched so much bjj and now all i want to do is fight someone so i can practice all the moves ive seen

  • my favorite move!!

  • that is painful

  • that was the slowest ass takedown...and it was so telegraphed. i hope that wasnt his full speed. or i would knee his ass in the face so hard.

  • press 3

  • so many ways to instantly win the fight, I must get better at this

  • @kfo73 if you get caught in a submission thinking its gay, don't worry you'll be asleep before u know it.

  • @jahoppas its only gay if u make eye contact :D

  • @tehf00n lol so if the person passes out its all good =p

  • @jahoppas i hear that is a fetish but i do not indulge as I am a tapper :)

  • This si good but if someones really strong its hard 2 do :(

  • @weedpussymoney321 But if you are fast enough, the strong guy wont relize what happened.

  • @AndyTheTeam true i guess

  • @weedpussymoney321 Also, good technique will always trump strength. When I first started training BJJ, my instructor used to get pissed off at me for trying to muscle people around. It never worked. Even if the guy is 'too strong' for you to get the kimura, there's a nice transition to either a triangle choke or an omoplata shoulder lock. There's also a transition to a guillotine choke. I dont care how strong someone is, if there's no blood getting to their brain, its tap or nap.

  • i will be trying that

  • I love the kimura move. It helps so much when you're able to get back into guard, and is one of the quickest moves if you have the strat down. awesome video!

  • effective grappling techniques....it's just so gay though....

  • @kfo73 sudenly it becomes less gay when the guy in between your legs is punching you in the head lol

  • Muay Thai is my stand up, BJJ is my ground game. Everything is simple and deadly. Krav Maga is also good to know for weapons and such.

  • @immortalKing011 bjj is great for ur ground game but you would be even more effective on the ground if you combined wrestling with bjj. then ur cookin

  • man i love this shit, anyone ever heard of Krav - Maga???

  • Standing up is best with muay thai-on the floor BJJ

  • @laff4nicky both very lethal, I practice both, but every mma fighter knows muay thai and bjj, its also good to know stuff they dont practice to be unpredictable, taekwondo, karate, judo, wrestling, kung fu boxing and aikido

that way you'll have more moves on your arsenal.

  • Press 2, 3 and 7

  • I just had my first competition yesterday and I won second place in my division. (white belt 120+) I had trouble escaping guard so next time I'll try this.

  • @julianisfolk You're not supposed to escape when you're on bottom. Congrats with the secondplace. :)

  • @julianisfolk Lean back and drive your elbows on his knees.. If that doesn't work swing a hand behind and unlock his feet if hes in a closed guard.

  • i love mixed martial arts and bjj a lot, but what pisses me off is that MMA is the FASTEST growing sport in the world right now. this sucks because if you get into a street fight, chances are more and more people are going to know MMA, which then means there is a greater chance of getting ur ass kicked

  • @bearsfan213 More likely though the person will have watched one video online or messed around with their friends and THINK they can kick your ass. :D Besides, if you're already training now then you've got quite the leg up on those people.

  • @bearsfan213 Thats why you got to learn it man. Be prepared

  • @bearsfan213 not really... it depends on the fighter :-P and the circumstance really. I gotten into a fight with someone who claimed he knew BJJ and I beat him pretty bad and I only train in Taekwondo which people like to bad mouth.

  • @bearsfan213 that means you need to train more you dick harder you train more people you will kill

  • @bearsfan213 stop being a pussy. so what if you get your ass beat.

  • @bearsfan213 Then don't start trouble. Also, if you "love" MMA "a lot" then why would there be any reason you would be out-matched?

Would you rather a fight that is easy or challenging??

Your statement is an indicator that you are a wussy.

You need to drink some cement so you can harden up.

  • man suxs u can't make ppl tapout in wrestling

  • @tapoutcampion111 yes u can dumbass

  • @MonsterMoneyG in wrestling u can't make a guy tapout stupid fuck the guy can tap all he wants the ref says no taping out so think before u speak dip shit

  • galing men....

  • beautiful

  • man, these videos are really helpfull, im taking bjj, but these videos might help me advance more

  • Kimura is from Judo actually.

  • the kimura can break the arm right?

  • @munkymaskproductions no, its a shoulder lock, it can dislocate the shoulder. also may i suggest you to try traditional jujutsu instead of krav maga and bjj wich are bullshit.

  • @delirio1987 I also suggest you go fuck yourself and stop sucking major cock.

  • just take mma its way better you learn a bit of everything ..i just started it yesterday and its amazing

  • @hockey123456789socks mma rocks!!!

  • @hockey123456789socks I take BJJ and Krav Maga (just started) I prefer that over MMA. I'd rather learn two very effective martial arts than two effective martial arts and ten other ones that don't work so well. Unless your looking to compete then MMA is great :) but i take martial arts for self defense.

  • this is deff killing MA, one of the best and most brutall, cose only here you can really brake your oponent in Half

  • Just one question. Why do BJJ guys wear a teeshirt under their gi?

  • @hadenough996 It's usually a rash guard and not just an ordinary tee shirt, but it helps to keep the gi from chafing the skin while rolling and also provides a little added modesty for the grapplers that are packing a few extra pounds.

  • @hadenough996 It's a personal preference, some do it because of sweat, others because of stretch marks and some just because they have a t-shirt that has a nicer feel to it than their Gi.

  • @hadenough996 no clue but i also wear a shirt under my gi

  • i just started doing bjj two days ago it so much fun i love doing the kimura!

  • @pimppotatoe From what position? Closed guard, Side control, open guard..there is many types

  • All these Expert village videos have gotten me interested in BJJ. Wrestling is great but I like all these submissions and throws.

  • please watch my videos and tell me what you think :)

  • Unless you are training under a Gracie then you are not going to get a Belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu homie. Ask any Gracie I talk to a few of them daily. They are not please with people taking tests online and calling themselves Blue, Purple, Brown, Black belts. Trust me come to a Gracie academy and you'll be humbled really quick. Peace and love to those who put in the time to learn just telling it like it is.

  • @paranormalvl I guess you haven't been updated on the whole Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Online University. Either way, @expertvillage show horrible BJJ technique

  • Take Gracie off the title you are not a Gracie

  • yes but it is none the less gracie jiu jitsu being taught, he doesn't mean to imply that he is a gracie.

  • @paranormalvl He learned gracie jiu jitsu but he isn't a gracie.

  • ...I have 54 years old and was a former BJJ fighter. We, down here in Brazil, call this lock "Kimura" ´cause it was used by the former japanese champion Kimura in the fight against the master of the masters, Helio Gracie. The japanese call this lock "Ude-garami" .Yes, it is a good and a effective lock and can be used at least in more two positions. Thanks for the video!!!

  • Great lessons!

  • Good video's, but the quality is s**t.

  • 1 kimura with cheese please.

  • one thing he didn't mention is when you are going for the kimura, it might help to bump your hips out a little bit to create some space, it really works when you have a big guy and you can't reach over him. But you must keep your leg locked on the back, because then they really can roll out

  • I just learned this yesterday i just started taking jui jitsu :)

  • this bully at school is going to try and bash me but im not sure i should hurt him to bad???? he teased like 200 peoples should i????

  • Comment removed

  • I think the nose is a good thing and also the ribs, but personally a nice knockout i would do, if i were keirrocks212 i would simply wait to find the temple open and just strike at it with the edge of my palm, elbows are better but will leave cuts and blood, but the palm is easiest, anyways good tips aj31313! :)

  • Escape!! That's your only option. You are more dangerous when you are escaping. And you would want to look like a victim in front of people. Don't make excuses about not being able to escape. You can't escape if you don't want to escape. Remember, you are the victim. Don't make him look like the victim otherwise you can't justify any force that you might inflict on him while you try to escape.

  • wat mma do u take?

  • i do muay thai but i want to try doing some moves from bjj cause bjj rocks!!!

  • @keirrocks212 you can take classes in both to expand your move set

  • @keirrocks212 i just got my Blue Belt and have never felt better swaggar in my life!

  • @keirrocks212 Muay Thai and BJJ are a deadly combo.. no doubt about that. Definitely would do it.

  • @keirrocks212 then u r a mma fighter

  • @keirrocks212 muay thai rocks :-P

  • fuck him up

  • i say flying triangle his ass

  • They look like they are having a good time together! lol!

  • lock your guard up at the end otherwise you will be passed and give up your back, who gave this guy a black belt?

  • he wont pass if his shoulder is popped out

    ;)

  • The fastest kimura in the world will struggle to finish that, they won't wait for it to be locked on to try then to pass einstein.

  • the thing is you roll before you elbow pops and you beat the guy

  • You break your guard for a kimura. The leg over the back prevents them from posturing up. So yes, whoever gave this man a black belt knew what they were doing.

  • no way is that gonna stop them posturing maybe in technique but in rolling and fights no way, you have to close that is the proper technique.

  • Well it keeps you locked to their position. If they posture you'll go with them.

  • that isnt the way its taught at a gracie academy... similair but the bottom player doesnt remove his hips from under his opponent to tighten the lock. he also doesnt move his hips with the arm to create the power mis match... am i correct?

  • Well, I already know how to do the arm triangle, gullitione, and now this. Good wrestling skills plus some BJJ=pwnage

  • "bottom guy"

    i chuckled :P

  • Werdum vs Overeem ended on this way

  • Scoutsniper is on crack, he could fight 2 people at once?? Are u kidding, one opponent who know what he is doing is enough, two dudes who know what they are doing feel like your fighting ten. U are being suckered buddy.

  • very smart strategy. while i agree with the bjj concept that no art will give you a GOOD chance against multiple attackers. some will give you a BETTER chance.

  • The bottom guy lol.

  • EASY BUT IT WORKS GOOD

  • all you shitheads think your a tuff guy get real fool.and who said multiple attackers what a homo.

  • unless u can quikly snap all their legs

  • i think that the black belt instructor should be the one doing the moves instead.

  • I do this in my sleep.

  • kimura owns it good shoulder lock if u at the bottom and the americana move is a good shoulder lock if u on top.

  • Oh yea!...well...ive mastered ninjitsu and muay boron and been to jail 3 times, shot 9 times and im only 8!

  • i've been going to team quest in Southern California

wen i watch the Gi Brazillian jiu jitsu

sum of those guys can really fuck sum shit up

nd next yr i was thinken of taking Krav -Maga

cuhs right now i'm jus taking Muay Thai + Brazillian Jiu Jitsu

nd a lil of submission wrestling...idk

all in all every fight u think of doesnt end up like that

u cnt picture how a fight's gunna happen nd you magically fight that way

    it's jus thinking it through

  • great stuff

    bjj is awesome

  • Mixed martial arts are good because they take what is effective and leave the rest, sure it ain't pure, but effective. Krav maga is great as well as many other styles, it really depends on the practicioner, and how much he or she trains, but the best way to fight is to avoid the fight and that is what most true masters of the trade will tell people learning.

  • the last thing you want is to fight on the ground if u have multiple opponents, bjj is excellent against single opponents not multiple.

  • You exactly right many people don't see this but if you have more than one attacker your going to want to stand and strike so bjj isn't good for multiple attackers

  • you never go on the ground in vs multiple attackers. thats why you learn a striking technique.

  • multiple attackers? run.

  • you're hilarious. and wtf is hakiedo?

  • It's really naive to think that because you can handle 2 opponents in a Haikido demonstration, that you could handle 2 in a streetfight. As soon as they decide to circle you're doomed.

  • not if you give one a cheap shot to the kidney, then beat the crap out of the other, the finish the other off... ive seen it done at my school at lunch time XD

  • lunch time school fights are nothing compared to a real world situation, most people in school aren't fighting for their lives, more for popularity. wait till your in the city and you get mugged, see what you can pull off then

  • Thats how I fight. I have it embedded in my brain that every fight is a serious fight, even little school/stupid ones. Helps you fight a lot better.

  • LOL fail wtf is hakiedo

  • A korean martial art that is similiar to Jiu Jitsu and is very dangerous. The only fail here is you.

  • im blue belt judo I know Jigaro Kano developped judo as a reformation of jujitsu

  • wow judo and bjj are so similar

  • Judo is derived from traditional Jiu Jitsu.

  • I know im just saying

  • good shoulder lock

  • you never take someone down like that you would get guilltioned

  • marc zee is my instructer

  • 2 Typen die sich Knuddeln :D

  • dont forget to not use your thumbs around your opponents wrist

  • Crywolf BJJ is effective. The only thing bjj cannot do is defend against multiple attackers.

  • Krav Maga's reliance on overwelming force(bursting) and groin shots/small joint manipulation make it not really effective for sporting events. Which is pefectly fine cause it's meant for selfdefense work anyway.

  • We also have to remember that small joint manipulation are tough in the street, because of the adrenalin Rush, but the art is good and great for the street. when competing we can't always use the nasty stuff, but there are no rules on the street.

  • I completely disagree. BJJ is only effective for competitions or against a single opponent. This would never be effective if an opponent on the street had a weapon such as a knife or had a group of friends attack you, which in my opinion makes Commando Krav Maga much more affective than BJJ, and possibly the most effective martial art.

  • i would say that a combination of krav maga, bjj and mut tai would be the most effective way to survive out on the street.

  • u see if u r good at BJJ and practice it alot and hav alot of friends who takes other martial arts and teach each other u can disarm a knife. BTW if u r good at BJJ u can take on multiple opponents such as a quick arm bar or choking 1 person and using him as a shield to defend urself.

  • you watch lots of movies

  • lol

  • what? lol I wouldnt recommend trying to take on multiple people with any martial art especially if you try to sub people while others are beating on you.

  • shut the fuck up man a would bite your striaght off mate you and yi fucking body shield you have been watching too much van damn you like pmsl

  • Well in BJJ it does kind of teach you to disarm knifes by controlling there body and making them do what you want to do. The US Marines practice Muay Thi and BJJ for when they are using there fist and the oppent has a kinfe. They will use the Muay Thi clinch then they will kind of use the arm bar in a way to disarm the enemy. And I have used BJJ in a street fight before, it was 3 vs 1 and once I got one to the ground and the others were standing up they didn't know what to do.

  • who gives a fuck

  • a know what i would of done and that is boot you sraight in the fucking head if you were doing one ofmy pals i would not heserte to jump in

  • ive been thinkin of practicing BJJ is it effective cuz some ppl say it is others say its not...

  • People who say its ineffective are just to lazy to learn it well, it is one of the most (if not THEMOST0 effective martial art

  • Have you watched mma ? You kick, a good MMA fighter would go for the take down before you can hit him and then, break your arm useing the above move... Why talk about things you dont know ??

  • I disagree with both of you. Remember Gomi vs. Gracie (too lazy to luck up which).

The take down must be calculating to be effective, need to know your opponent cause some may have calculating kicks as well.

  • good point but he wont break his arm hed seperate the shoulder from the socket actually

  • Easier said than done. Though it has happened in the past a few times my brother who is quick to criticize everything joined me to my Muay Thai and BJJ classes yesterday.

He does not see it in the same light now. Though he still prefers stand up fighting he has a new found respect for BJJ and signed up.

  • this is very poor kimura technique demonstration. The person who does it is a white belt. There was no precision to the moves that he did.

  • Looked like black with one stripe to me

  • His gi isnt dirty their just bluring out some advertisement on the back

  • The Gi is used as a weapon to gain control of a opponent in this situation.

From the guard using the gi i love the gator roll or baseball bat choke using the gi, its personify's what BJJ is all about, devastating move thats simple, uses technique over brawn..

Thats why he grabs 'the mans shirt'...

  • Kimura simmons life in the fab lane.

  • actually the best way of grabing the wrist is with the 5 fingers in the front not with only 4.

  • The back of the white gi is extremely dirty, and the mats don't look like anti-fungal mats...CLEAN THE DOJO

  • shut up when u fightin someone on the street u not goin clean the street before u fight on it so shut up

  • hes not fighting on the street u dumb fuck it's in a dojo

  • ur not gettin what im sayin u dumb fuck shut up and get a life u fuckin computer gangsta

  • I had to get fungus cream from the doctor last week for my foot. Clean matts is good to have in a dojo. Thsi is practice not the streets. If you want more of a street feel, then put broken glass, dog shit, spit, some water and some dirt and garbage, then you got the streets to roll in... lmao

  • your missing the point fuck head

  • Comment removed

  • so you walk around the streets with your gi on? is that what your trying to say?

  • man fuk no ur supposed to go over the shoulder cuz any experienced bjj person would see it coming and pull out if its jus behind the elbow. ur supposed to clamp down the persons shoulder in ur armpit so they cant pull out

  • What is the diference between traditional jiu jitsu and the brazilian one?

  • Brazilian was developed by the Gracies and uses techniques to subdue someone faster

  • the truth is that jiu jitsu we see in mma isnt the REAL jiu jitsu, the real jiu jitsu isnt to be used on the streets, its a way of life, its health...- Wich martial art master could beat a guy with a gun that is like 5m away from him? Well im pretty sure most would get shooted unless they where lucky.. nowadays martial art is all about sport, media and money. But for some, philosophy and health. But isnt very usefull for selfguard since its so easy to any noob get a gun, load and shoot it.

  • well u cant just say martial arts will save you from anything. martial arts is pretty useful for getting into fights. for example a fist fight, someone has a knife, etc

  • We can see that Brazilian Jujitsu is great against one individual opponent in a cage, but unfortunately we do not have that option just to defense ourselves against one attacker at all times. Show us how Brazilian Jujitsu stand against 2 or 3 fighters from other MMA.

  • "Show us how Brazilian Jujitsu stand against 2 or 3 fighters from other MMA. "

Show us how "insert any martial art here" stands against 2 or 3 fighters from other martial arts.

  • Muay Thai and boxing.. seen it happen. Not to be bias,I do take BJJ 4 times a week.

  • And they all came at the guy at the same time? I find that hard to believe. Most people have their hands full with 1 person. How do you fight someone who's in front of you while another person is playing rock-em-sock-em robots with the back of your head?

  • Be a good striker, without gloves on, a regular dude can get knocked out with one hook or a cross. Especially if the other opponents dont have any training, easy pickings.

  • I think you'd take a sucker punch to the back of the head before you turned around. Sure, you can knock out someone with one punch (MMA gloves allow fighters to hit harder because they're not worried about their fists btw).

But I've seen boxers sparring with joe schmoes and joe schmoe can usually protect himself decently enough to avoid a decent amount of hits to the head (still one-sided).

I've never seen a video of anyone taking on multiple attackers who don't come at him one at a time.
