  • I frickin love it! Oorah!!

  • We got smoked one time for almost an hour by a Army Ranger who had just become a Drill Sergeant! Damn that was a smoking!!!! In fact while doing push ups he made us say SMOKE on the way up and ME on the way down! That was the worst smoking I ever had! He wasn't our DI but he heard us laughing at the guys in the fat farm who looked like crap after a long day of PT! So he had them watch us and laugh while he smoked our asses! We never laughed at them again! LOL, good memories! 11Bravo, Infantry!

  • It is funny, even in Bootcamp we would laugh at dumbasses getting smoked, they usually deserved it, besides, it's a great way to get warm when it's freezing cold outside. I would volunteer sometimes just to get the blood going. Worst I ever got was a full hour when I was a Safety Violator on the Rifle Range, now that sucked!!!

  • Today I saw 2 gay marines kissing on YOUTUBE. Rough and tough marines? I'm laughing my ass off !!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DumbHonkie1 Those Marines did Kiss, but the Army had two men get married, so who cares? As long as they slay the enemy and have my back I could care less. KILL!!!

  • @666K9USMC The usmc and all the army leg units can have them for all I care.

  • 2nd battalion is yellow...fox company

  • Hey marines, I want you to watch how the 82nd Airborne paratroopers punish one of their own on YOUTUBE. Just type in " 82nd airborne smoking in a storm". This punishment will make marines' IT or QUATERDECKING look like a child play.

  • @DumbHonkie1 it was family day, this isn't real training.

  • @casedizzy I would like to see how the marines smoke some of their own, How tough is the marine smoking? Is it as tough as the one at the 82nd Airborne?

  • @DumbHonkie1 i would rather crawl around in the mud then get murdered for an hour so take your pussy army shit and kick rocks. Semper Fidelis 0321

  • @scarface20145 Hey, jarhead shitbag, I saw quite a few marine recon trainees fail at the jump school, because they either couldn't keep up with the runs or froze at the door of an aircraft. If you ain't AIRBORNE, you ain't shit, mother fucker. AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY!!!!!

  • Man what the hell was I thinking 15 years ago? LOL!

  • not to be disrespectful to any marine but lol that shit looks funny.

  • @redefiningsk8ing yea go laugh at the drill instructor when he is yelling at u and see what happens

  • @TheMarines688 well im sure that the actual experience isn't funny but watching it from far does indeed look funny to me.

  • @redefiningsk8ing it is funny unless it's you :)

  • i want sum mo i want sum mo.

  • ill never forget those days lol

  • lol I miss this shit

  • memories...

  • cool, are these the guys the american people get to fight?

  • I think 90% of Marine Corp bootcamp is learning how to interpret the words of people screaming incoherent non sense into your ear from 7/10th of an inch away. Does it really take all that horah rah rah rah ree roo ah ah ah oh uh oh uh to shoot someone in the head with a fully automatic rifle or run over them with a tank. I believe it doesn't, but then again I've never ran over someone with a tank. Oh Oh Rah Rah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrHarvardGuy It's about learning how to function in a culture where if you don't do what you are told, there are big consecquences, like death for example. The training and intensity drills instant obediance to orders into recruits' minds so they may not lollygag on a battlefield and get shot or blown up because they want the reason explained to them, among other examples.

  • @fatrown3 Things generally seem easier/simpler from the outside looking in, but if your name has any reason to it, you would know that already. Right?

  • Comment removed

  • Its all in the name of getting your nerves used to being in the heat, If you cant stick these guys, You are not made for the field.

  • is this normal in america?

  • @snowsp33ders1 it's worse on Reach!

  • 3rd batt. is blue, 1st is red, and 2nd is still green. oorah. kill.

  • @Shitbird3249 Thats the colors i remember!!!!!

  • In my day, that was called getting thrashed.

  • haha that was so me :)

  • Confidence course...how I miss MCRD

  • @casedizzy you're right on the shirt colors. I was 2nd bn fox co and we were yellow. rah.

  • Nope Tiiiiiggghherrr!!

  • "How to be a professional retard." Lesson 1.

  • bitch! did i say breathe hard? good PUSH PUSH PUSH CRUNCH CRUNCH BACK STRAIGHT READY MOVE, GOOD NO VOLUME? SIDE STRADDLE HOPS, CRUNCH CRUNCH PUSH RUN IN PLACE, MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS PUSH PUSHPUSSSSHHHH.

  • As a recruit I don't remember volunteering but still getting an ass whoopin from the DIs. Of course that was a long time ago..

  • lmaooo that sucks poor guy

  • Dog & pony show for the lady folk.

  • "Arrrgh" "Arrgh"

Soliders are brave fellas. After High school I plan on going to get my College credit then BAM. Hellooo lady Marines. (:

  • My jane wayne day is saturday at camp lejeune.....yay

  • I like the last two sentences of the description.

  • Are those drill instructors wearing diffrent t-shirts cause i could have sworn the DI

shirts are red.Or are their diffrent types of drill instructors teaching things?

  • @philipinoidiot

Depends where they are assigned. 3rd Battalion wear blue shirts, 2nd Battalion wear yellow, and 1st wear red. I might have 2nd and 1st mixed up. I know 3rd is blue because I was Mike Co. Green shirts are for Drill Instructors who are assigned to training, such as MCMAP or MCWIS (swim tank).

  • @casedizzy no you got it right

  • @casedizzy green is 2nd battalion and blue is third and red is first.

  • @jimbosan7272 you are incorrect about green. Green is ITC (Instructor Training Company).

  • @casedizzy if I'm not mistaken in 1992 it was Red for 1st and Green for 2nd and Blue for third. platoon 2038, Hotel Co., Parris Island. I seem to remember getting a green Second Battalion T- shirt.

  • @casedizzy na you got it right, 2nd battalion wears yellow for sure.

  • @casedizzy Not mixed up, you are correct on your color assignments. Red = 1st Bn, yellow = 2nd Bn, blue = 3rd Bn, green = training (O-course, C-course, pugils, swim, etc.). I personally started at MCRD(SD) in 1st Bn D Co with the red shirts, broke my foot, got recycled after MRP to 3rd Bn K Co with the blue shirts. Saw the green shirts only on the courses and such.

  • Cool Video. Thank you for your service. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Marines, Soldiers, Airmen and Sailors. Have friends or relatives who have been one of them.

  • hehe :D

  • RAHH!! Some motivating shit!

  • @semperfistik

ya i was about to say this is not what happens to marines, this is a recruit

  • In my day (before the pussification of America started) this was called getting quarterdecked.

  • @sgtm1775 Still is.

  • @casedizzy we also call it getting slayed

  • @sgtm1775 Yep, quarterdecked, smoked, fuck up, killed, you name it. Incentive training is the 'official' name of it. :)

  • @BBTthetank MORE I T!!

  • @jakobo789 OK OPEN YOUR MOUTH..AYE AYE SIR!!!

  • @BBTthetank i know you push with knife hands aye aye sir. scream!

  • @sgtm1775

am i insane for saying that i actually miss this stuff?

i was one of the guys that actually started volunteering to get smoked every day, starting on T-2

  • @sgtm1775... If the DI snapped his fingers and pointed at you, it was usually followed by "Get in my classroom..." After that, you stood the fuck by!!!

  • @ke6ziu Oh yeah.. I remember those days well.

  • Marines do get smoked. It's another word for IT. Like for example. Go get smoked. You are getting slayed, or empty your pockets and get on my quarterdeck

  • @dick4554 whatever helps you sleep better at night dipshits

  • man that shit used to go on for hours back in the day

  • I said F the Corps in '04, and then went back in cus the civi-world was Fucked up... In '08 I got my ass handed to me on a silver platter thanks to an RPG that hit my third differential...

It flipped the truck forward...stood on it's tiny forward bumper for a second landed on all 6. The blast threw me thru the windshield...and shrapnel went thru my cheek.. Busted out 2 molars. We were able to dismount the .50 cal off truck and we killed our enemy. OOH-FUCKIN-RAH!!

  • Hazing builds brotherhood.

  • @bubejunkie errrrrrah

  • @casedizzy You know...im in the army and i coulda sworn the marines was Oorah

  • @ShadeDravinas It is Oorah, errrrrah is more of the salty sometimes sarcastic way to say it. Or just plain errrrr. Sometimes it will just be a bark. You get tired of saying the same crap over an over. It's usually the boots, or the jokers that say Oorah the exact way it's intended. Everyone else has their own version. Like instead of Semper Fi, we'll say Shrimp or Fries....etc

  • @casedizzy hmm...I get what youre sayin. I agree big time to getting bored of saying the same thing over n over. Kinda like us when we just monotonously say hooah when we're told something

  • @ShadeDravinas errrr... similar to how urban youths change the english language..

  • @thoughtriot717 Gotcha

  • @bubejunkie it also caused an asian marine to take his life. hazing doesnt build brotherhood. like getting hit by your father as a child, it builds resentment

  • @MrKyleSchick Why does it matter that he was asian? I'm asian. (filipino). We're all GREEN! The USMC is THE MOST racially mixed branch. I"ve done ops w army, navy, airforce and they're not as brotherley as WE are. Anyways. That marine who killed himself was a grunt, (infantry) and he was caught MULTIPLE times asleep on post in AFGHANISTAN! . He HAD to be corrected. When I was in Afghan falling asleep on post was the worst sin. I'm sad for his family yes. It's very tragic. It was suicide.

  • @bubejunkie im sure you have done ops with all the branchs. im sure u r a regular spartan super soldier. it doesnt matter that he was asian at all youre just being pedantic. yes he committed suicide. very impressive of u to point that out. what im saying is that u dont haze people to discipline them. u report them to your ncoic or youre oic and theyll deal with them.

  • @bubejunkie it isn't "hazing," he's a recruit, it's training.

  • Description?

  • This is called I.T. not smoked & they are recruits not Marines. You have to finish boot camp first, & then you've earned the title.

  • @hever53 description

  • @hever53 Muscles Are Required Intelligence Not Expected this video proves it to all you "marines?" read the fucking description yall a bunch of idiots

  • sad marines need 3 DI's to smoke one joe.... i thought marines dont do smokings anymore? went to pendleton and 29 palms.. was the first army in reg to go 1-23 in back in march of 08 and all they can do is "yell at each other"

  • Comment removed

  • "Either you gonna be real smart, or real strong."

    -D.I. quote...usually on the quarterdeck.

  • Theres no such his as hazeing, just EMI, Extra Marine Instruction or plain old Tradition

  • hahaha, this is awesome

  • maan, that looks fun :D

  • U.S.M.C-

    U Signed the Muthafuckin Contract

  • @thehundredsrocks

    U Suckers Missed Christmas

so true -.- Ill be in basic during christmas. dont really care though.

  • @FalloftheMorningStar you will.

  • @only1option

Ive been looking forward to leaving since I became a Poolee. sure itll be tough, mentally and physically challenging, but Ive got a good MOS and the honor of carrying the title United States Marine is so damn important to me that I wont let anything get in my way. look out Parris Island. here I come. Oorah,

  • @FalloftheMorningStar That's good man. Just keep an open mind cuz it's not what you expect. Take it from someone thats been to afghan twice. And you haven't gotten the MOS yet, you need to graduate your school first. A bit of advice for bootcamp... be invisible. My drill instructors didn't even know my name until 3rd phase. It was awesome and I only got quarterdecked like 4 times while i was there.

  • @only1option I always keep an open mind. its hard to get by this day and age without one. you get mad respect for serving as you did, and thanks for the advice, Ill be sure to keep it in mind.

  • this...is...retarded

  • Marines dont get smoked its CALLED IT'D incentive training... the army gets smoked. and recruits are the ones who get IT'D

  • my buddies intentionally got IT'd because bootcamp get boring doing the same routin over and fuckin over again.

  • Can't wait for bootcamp I leave June 6 OOHRAH

  • AAAAHH , good memories, IT is also good for punishing your teenager, toughens them up and gives them some discipline, damn kids.

  • Reading is fundamental...If that were a recruit he would have had his ass handed to him a hell of a lot worse.

  • @semperfistik

yo, retard, it's a Marine, he's a Corporal. It's Jane Wayne day. I filmed it. Read the description. Good you don't wanna read, get back.

  • @casedizzy What is Jane Wayne day?

  • Google. It won't let me post the link.

  • @casedizzy Message me with the link then. Dont put it in the comments.

  • @casedizzy This would be considered hazing... so There is no possible way thats a marine. Especially at MCRD they wouldnt dare do this in front of recruits. and dont say there arent any recruits in the area because Dental is right behind you.

  • @NAFeva It's not hazing, this Cpl volunteered. We were showing wives what IT is. It's Jane-Wayne-day at MCRD. Google is your friend, it won't let me post the link. Nobody was at dental, it was a Friday (lolNAVY). People don't read the description, I swear to God. I will give you my personal phone number and you can quiz me on knowledge, and I'll yell cadence in your ears if you want. I'm not some fat teacher at a PR event. I am a Marine. I know the difference.

  • @casedizzy No. I realised after I commented that it wasnt a recruit because he was in Desert Boots and Utes. Sorry for the misconception. and yeah (LOLNavy) I am a new Marine. I just graduated last friday. I know that is no excuse but hey, what can you do right? heh.

  • @NAFeva So then you're Fox Company. I was at your family day looking at all you pukes in your wrinkled charlies, escorting your grandma's with your left arm, not giving me the proper greeting of the day. It's all good, we've all been there. Stay motivated devil pup. A lot of people get NJPd their first year. Don't get in trouble. Safety briefs suck, but people will still drink underage, get DUIs, and smoke weed. Don't be the one.

  • @casedizzy Yeah. I am Fox Co. I agree that a lot of the new Marines were pretty hanus. You are not a GySgt by chance?

  • thAT USED to be my dad but now hes training the future marine officers in virgina

  • Oh yeah I remember patch of sand. Our DI's used to call it Disney Land. Good times

  • @stevedizzle007 yep, make it rain...

  • its a recruit. he hasnt earned the tittle.....YET

  • @MrILLMINDED read the description. He's a Marine who volunteered to demonstrate what gettin it'd means

  • I remember that patch of dirt fondly.

  • Only a glimpse ??????!!!!!

  • good old days

  • bottom line ; they can't eat you

  • and for all of you who think this is a recruit haha Drill Instructors just wouldnt stop and walk away like that if it was a recruit haha they would start playing fuck fuck games with himm tellin him to go and catch a seagull or go and touch the airplane or go and touch the tree

  • damn you hate it as a recruit but i would love to go back to boot and do it all over again haha i miss that shit haha

    MAAAAAAKKKKKEEE READY HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

  • /redtib2003

  • i feel so bad for him lol

  • S.M.O.K.E. Supremely Motivating Onset of Korrective Exercise

  • i'm pretty sure...it's a RECRUIT getting smoked.

  • What does 'smoked' mean?

  • @Level9Lime another word for "enthusiastic physical traning"

  • @Level9Lime Having a drill instructor make you do push ups and some other forms of exercise, until they get tired of screaming at you.

  • FREAKIN BOOT!!

  • hahaha can i volunteer to be next! never thought i would say it but i miss getting slayed like that.

  • Well, it seems alot MARINES commenting on this video need IT'd, YOU know your DIs taught you to follow and read directions better than THAT!!! It clearly states Jane Wayne Day...JANE WAYNE DAY,RIGHT!!! And it states, "A Marine", A MARINE RIGHT!!! Okay, so read the introductions for now on, understand me, NO! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME, NO! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!!!

  • DIs.

They can smell fear like sharks.

  • i remember that sand, it smelled and gave everyone pink eye.

  • Semper Fi Just get in da durt and begin...

  • To reiterate, it's a Marine. I know the difference. Read the description. Also @Cmartin40, you'll miss boot camp trust me. You'll probably want to go back and be a DI, unless you're like F the Corps.

  • @casedizzy your right. I am a Marine and i do miss boot camp.

  • I graduated like 2 days ago. I am so glad to be gone of that place. I was with Echo. Co. Plt. 2113. We tied for first in final drill but ended getting second because of one Moto point.

  • yeah sure he is a marine.....lmao

i would like to see a former marine show that much of intensity :)

  • @19xXJulyXx87 There's no such thing as a "former Marine". Also notice that Marine is spelled with a "M', not a "m". Learn some respect if you're going to flap your gums on here.

  • @Harleydude2 oh yeah let me guess... once a mAriNE always a mArINe....

and stop being a lil vag. about punctuation, u remind me of an english teacher.

  • hey 462donkey ass did you not read the description. he is a marine. he was showing the wives what IT is. read shit before you wrote something

  • hey idiots if u read the description ud read that it was a MARINE showing the wives what IT is not a recruit

  • haha i remember this happening to me once because i sneezed =P fun times

  • Hey beachclub1 they aren't bitches they're fucking people that might save your ass so chill with that shit you fucking commie

  • I really do miss that shit!!!!! Semper Fi.

  • This is not a Marine yet. He is still a recruit trying to earn the title.

  • @462Donkey thats a marine haha he used to be a drill instuctor which he still is he just isnt techinally in the drill field and working with recruits everyday

he could work the dojo or the pugil sticks or the o course or C course

  • I see this every day! And it never gets old haha bitches.

  • MCRD SAN DIEGO BEEEIIIITCHHHH lol.......good times lol

  • Looks fun....NOT!

  • Damn it must be hot over there
