Also, Madam du Pompadour says a few french words which we hear in french, but people like to forget that episode for obvious reasons. There's very little continuity in Nu-hu even though the majority of it is written by just 1 guy.

@LegoDaleks what I mean by it being intentional is that it is the phrase they are saying they mean to say it in that language they specifically mean to say it as such. why do forget that episode its one of my favourites! 'whats a horse doing on a spaceship? Micky whats pre-revolutionary france doing on a spaceship? Get a little perspective' haha I think the point is it is written for English speaking viewers so it has to be in english except for a few well known phrases in a different language!

@LegoDaleks Donna brought a similiar point up in "fires of pompeii" they can say stuff in other languages. the TARDIS just translates it into the language they understand best. like on christmas invasion when the aliens were speaking in his normal tongue and it translated into english halfway through the sentence and he claimed he wasn't speaking english. it's just the language they understand best. or so i've observed
