Swingin! When you play, would you say you rely more on chord forms or do you more run scales up and down the neck? I havent really learned to use chords much yet. I just pick melodies out of the scales. I'm wondering if you are using chords during the lead to get that full sound. Thanks.

Nothing wrong with Picking melodies, add some blues lines or lick from the major and minor pentatonic scale..listen to as much blues as possible and you will hear the patterns. stay with it, never give up.
