I can't curl my own hair, but I can curl others. Wut u need to do is take the iron and part your hiar in sections, then, you need to curl your hair about 1-2 inches at the bottom. then spray w/ finishing spray.

Do you have a flat iron? You'd have to get it layered a bit more, cutlength shorter, have it texturized at the ends, and use a pomade or was type style product (after you dry it). When you dry it, you'd need to blow it out with a large, round brush, pull it straight, then use a really good flat iron (they're expensive but worth it, they really work!) You may pull it off...it'd be cute!
