Actually re-reading that didn't quite make sense: The idea is that God has fulfilled the law on behalf of us because no one could obey it entirely. This means we have a debt to pay, Jesus has paid it in full if we believe in him and love him. So we do good for each other not to save ourselves (selfish aims) but because we love God and his teachings and try to do the best we can, we can ask for forgiveness when we fall short of holiness, but God doesn't expect us to attain true holiness like him.
(cont) We all have gifts given to us by God, and weaknesses brought about by our sinful nature. God is leading and preparing us for our return to heaven, his will be done. So as we build a relationship with God through his Son Jesus we become more holy from year to year not due to our own effort but due to God's spirit transforming our heart, by realising our mistakes and growing from them. I have, also many non-biblical historical documents prove that Jesus died on the cross killed by the Romans. The Bible actually tells of Jesus sacrifice in what the other prophets did in their lives for God. Jesus did the same. The Bible is the least understood book on earth.

For clarification there are different types of moral laws. The 10 commandments are concerned with morals were outward laws and Moses law shows the punishments for tresspassing those laws, death !
Jesus wants us to obey higher standards than that !

(cont) We obey the grace command's, like don't be excessively angry (this is committing murder), do not say unkind words, don't be a hypocrite, do not lust after women/men (this is comitting adultery and fornication), do not swear oaths they come from Satan, intergrity is more important, be honest, if you say your going to do it, do it, let yes mean yes and no mean no ! Explained in detail in Matthew Chapter 5.
These can only be fulfilled by God helping you Love others truly.

Actually re-reading that didn't quite make sense: The idea is that God has fulfilled the law on behalf of us because no one could obey it entirely. This means we have a debt to pay, Jesus has paid it in full if we believe in him and love him. So we do good for each other not to save ourselves (selfish aims) but because we love God and his teachings and try to do the best we can, we can ask for forgiveness when we fall short of holiness, but God doesn't expect us to attain true holiness like him.

(cont) We all have gifts given to us by God, and weaknesses brought about by our sinful nature. God is leading and preparing us for our return to heaven, his will be done. So as we build a relationship with God through his Son Jesus we become more holy from year to year not due to our own effort but due to God's spirit transforming our heart, by realising our mistakes and growing from them. Nothing can change without a change of heart.

Bro/sis, you are right, no one ever claimed to be God, and i wear by God; that not even jesus claimed to be God. Why would a prophet (a highly ranked person who God sent to teach the truth) tell a lie and claim to be God? Why would a prophet do that? he wouldnt; and thats the fact, thats the point, nowhere, even in todays bible, does jesus say "I am God, worship me" No where it says that. yet you do, when jesus comes back on the second coming, he will surely tell you the truth.

Read John chapter 14.
It clearly says that the Holy Spirit of God is Jesus spirit, it proceeds from the Father (God). Making the Trinity, the tri-unity of persons in the Godhead.
Did you really think Christians just follow something that is not taught in the Bible ? Would Muslims follow something not taught in the Quran ? Neither would Christians it's a stupid comment to make.

I ask you to use your rationality to research on the orgins of the bible from a historical perspective; leaving the faith aspect of it to one side. I have, also many non-biblical historical documents prove that Jesus died on the cross killed by the Romans. The Bible actually tells of Jesus sacrifice in what the other prophets did in their lives for God. Jesus did the same. The Bible is the least understood book on earth.

Some ayah were eaten by a goat, many muslims who memorised the quran were killed. So who knows if you got the whole thing. Some Muslims claim that 75% of the Quran was lost.
I thought the Bible was difficult to study, but the Quran is a mess to begin with, there is no context for the verses so you have to rely on scholars interpretations of the verses, etc.... there are so many contradictory sources in Islam though. argh..

(cont) we know historically that there were no translations of the Bible in Arabia at that time but there were gnostic writings in Arabic, the arab gnostics of the time could have told Muhammad stories from these writings. Which are a mirror image of the Quranic stories. Coincidence ??
Also the Quran contains a story from the Midrash which is known to be a fairy tale written by Rabbis. Yet it's told in the Quran ! The story of Abraham smashing the idols.

Actually the whole world doesnt know. Do you know that some people reject Jesus, and state he didnt even exist? ANd do you know that christian historians and intellectuals, who are also christian scholors state that it seems impossible that JEsus died only after a few hours on the cross (according to the bible) It would take days for the death, not mere 3 hours. And besides, when jesus "allegedly died" the other men put on the cross were still alive. The prove is there that he DIDNT die.

I watched that doco too I think, by Jesus dying first shows that Jesus knew how to trust and submit himself to the Father completely. Just another undeniable truth shown by example by Jesus, everyone else tried to preserve their life Jesus knew his fate before his time on earth so died willingly, only a Holy man (God himself) would do such a thing, our nature is one that fights for survival, Jesus clearly didn't have a human nature.

i could say the west are using christian technology but that is not true, they are using technology developed by man. all the science we use today is not in the qoran or the bible, or does the qoran contain the blueprints for a nuclear power station or a space shuttle, didn't think so.

Actually, if you analyse, when the muslims were the closest to the quran and islam, there empire expanded from one side of the globe to another within approx 200 years. The Shari'ah law is about praying 5 times a day, to fast in ramadan, to give charity to the poor, to be kind to your neighbours, to treat people with respect, to be truthful and humble and the list can go on.
You are only exposed to aspects of shari'ah which "may seem" harsh to you. That's only because of indoctrination. The shari'ah law is the best way to live life, whether you're muslim or not. And the shari'ah law is nowhere in the world today, the world is full of tyrants

I agree totally friend, it is a historical book, like you stated. Words from people; historians etc etc. Maybe a small minority from God. This book is a story book, an historical document. Whereas the Quran is purly the word of God, and yes i believe in some parts of the bible myself, as some; a small minority may be.

But do not get me wrong at all. I agree with some things in the bible, but i am sorry to say a very few. What goes with the Quran, i agree, what doesn't it either maybe true, or may not be. But in some cases it makes me think whether Gods book would contain some of the filth the bible contains. SO that goes in the rejection part. I cannot take them aboard. I have to reject. Never mind the bible, i am on about the christians. What bible do you read brother? KJV? NIV? ??? ??? ??? ??? which one?
