  • 'I left my hearing in the 80's'. Classic line!

  • Ellis's tips for aspiring writers: "copy Alan Moore. The end." And of course, if you find you can't write like him then try to look like him instead.

  • Fuck that! My advice is to out perform Alan Moore. If we start following Alan Moore style, then we are no better than the movie theaters. Better to be creative, and do our own style of work. Than follow a god who is behind the times. By the by, Yes I am a Alan Moore fan!

  • Alan Moore changed the way society saw comics books in the 80s by mixing several genres into a rather homogeneous mix at the time.

Ellis changed forever the way people saw science fiction during the 90s with Transmet and is now doing the same in the new century with Dr. Sleepless.

I fail to see the "copying" connection besides them being great science fiction writers who simply love comics.

  • What did the woman say that Warren didn't hear? I couldn't catch it either...

  • She burned the fuck out of Claremont.

  • @blckng claremont had some incredible plots but reading his stories can be trying.

  • @matthumpage something like "can you tell that to chris claremont?"

  • he is the man!!
