omg! i was in the pit too, i loved it when the power went off nd we all started singin the riff - "duh duh duh duh duh duh duh" - ahh loved every minute!!great gig!
i was at the gig too it was so amazing i would of liked to hear clapton do longer solos tho! and who here thinks that the solo for layla was soundin lik the best solo hes done for the song this tour maybe its just me but until the power went it sounded really sweet then started really whackin into it, den bang!! head was wreaked! any1s opinion on it?? is it jus me????
Yeah i loved that concert crazy weather but given the fact he got slated at cork i thought he was absolutely fantastic here...power cuts were a little annoying but still great concert for all that

Rubbish Gig!!!
Clapton was terrible! Not only did he get some of the words wrong during a couple of songs but he even played a few songs differently! Wonderful tonight was AWFUL!!! Self Indulgent RUBBISH! I want my money back!!!
You were obviously at the wrong gig mate, I think SPICE GIRLS is probably more your thing, that was a couple of months ago, catch a grip if you thought CLAPTON was AWFUL, you must have a severe hearing disability.

WOW Frank! You've some serious issues if you have to attack someone like that!
Perhaps you haven't heard about all the emails going to the promoter asking for a refund, or read the papers about Eric's "lackluster" performance and failure to play many of his hits, the fact that he didn't engage with the crowd etc.
Maybe you should drop the attitude and keep your mouth shut?
If you'd have SHUT YOUR MOUTH in the first place then you wouldn't have shown the world what an uninformed opinion you have of music. Clapton wasn't at his best, but I hope that I have the ability to do what he does when I get to his age and after all he has been through over the years, go back to your DANCE or DRUM'N'BASS or whatever it is that you listen to when you're not talkin' shite, get a life.'Clapton was terrible', strong words indeed, I assume that your ability must be phenomenal! DICK
i was there yeaterday! what a gig! but the whole sound cutting out thing was a bit of a set back. i felt bad for the ppl not in the pit. i could only barely hear it from the pit
great gigm shame about the power but i was at the front so could still kind of hear it! it was kind of funny actually, the band looked like they were having a private party! but eric was truly unbelievable, as was robert randolph and doyle bramhall!
there was a power out in malahide which affected the gig. its not the fault of anyone, its just unfortunate to have happened. still i was right up front and he put on an amazing show with an amazing band, and with support from rober randolph and the family band you couldn't have wanted more
I was also there and what I want to know is,why do 50 year old men bring their 50 year old wives to these concerts, who chat throughout the show, not even facing the stage and dont even have the respect to applaud a blues icon when he finishes one of his songs, all the while drinking red wine after giving these promotional dimwits 76euro to do so...?
they dont move!
