I think you did a really great job of showing us and this hobby in an amazing light. We're not the people the internet needs to root out and get rid of. We're what makes it better. And this very professional looking video proves just that.

Great work! It's wonderful to see so many young vidders deciding to make careers in film -- we need more women directors and producers! Vidding has owned my heart for more than a decade and I just love seeing it continue to captivate people. The documentary felt very authentic and the vids showcased in it look excellent, too.

I'm a bit confused. Who's project was this? I see alot of different people. Who was the girl that did the most talking? Just wanted to say to her. Good job capturing the heart of a vidder. Before MTV and music videos. I would listen to music and visualize what a video would look like. And I to do not edit linear. I have to fill in the inspiration of certain parts and then fill in from there. It's totally awesome to see other vidders with the same passion I have. You will get an A on this.

Well done. I like the videos as much as the commentary. We should just do this for fun and not just school projects. There are so many people who are vidders in youtube and it's kinda sad that this is the first time I've seen people actually talking about it as something relevant and like it really, really exists.

AMV is an acronym for Anime Music Video, acceptable.

Vidding is slang for video editing, which is also acceptable.

Video editing and vidding are one in the same, whereas vidding is what is abbreviated among the youtube community (and others) and video editing is the proper term, and is assciated with any form of 'video editing'

First of all, you're on the internet ... get used to it. Second saying vidding conserves space, if I typed video editing on every comment I'd lose 6 characters for the comment, its slang and is acceptable so get over it. No one whose serious about it goes into the industry and tells people they want to be a vidder. Now don't try to be too much of a jackass for no reason as you troll around youtube :3

I absolutely love this concept! This was an amazing portrait of what vidding actually is. When I started vidding I never though that this passion would actually become my profession and here I am doing trailers professionally for television. LOL Sometimes dreams DO come true. The video community inspired and encouraged me to go this way which speaks a lot for all the awesome people out there. If you don't get an A I'll personally fly over to the US and punch your teacher in the face. Promise!
