Malik Jubal-The vocalist in this number insisted a scene in which people could see his face, he demanded the mask removed a briefly. He was considered very handsome amongts his fans and he feared they would not recognize him with the mask throught the entire number. This Play-Back number virtually stole the show in the movie Ghost World and it was this number seen in the movie trailers which made many go see it because many people thought this vocalist was Steve Buscemi performing. Whoa! Excellent resolution and sound on this vid! Thanks psteve! Truly one of the greatest numbers in Rock and Roll history. The dancer is the beautiful Laxmi Chhaya, the singer is Benjamin Herman lip syncing to the vocals of Mohammad Rafi. Mr. Herman is also the choreographer of those wonderful dance moves. Ted Lyons and His Cubs is a real band and Ted Lyons is the drummer. The clothing design was by Batman and The Riddler.
