  • its a nice rifle, the bdc is a great way for quick targeting, I would recomend this scope over those BULL CRAP EOTECHS or AIMPOINt dot scopes. eo techs and aimpoints are best for 100 yards or less!

  • @g3seifert To label an eotech or aimpoint as "BULL CRAP" is an ignorant statement to say the least. They were never designed to be a long range sight. They offer the fastest target acquisition possible. But, with 3x the magnifiers available they can easily shoot in the 300 yard range. I own both an eotech and an m-223. They both serve a purpose and are fun to shoot.

  • I just got this for my Mini 14. 1 inch tube for Ruger scope rings Nice. The Mini 14 is at best a 300 yard battle rifle, maybe 400 yards. I think the point blank scope will make my mini pretty bad ass.

  • does the scope sit high enough to look over the front sight post?

  • how does it work with a 223 bolt action

  • 4 rounds in 20 seconds? Is that suppose to be fast?

You don't even need to hold over until 400 plate so what's the point?

  • the real dealbreaker is that it isn't "for your ar", it is for "your dad's ar".

the m223 scopes are all optimized for the 55gr bullet. who the hell shoots that anymore from an ar?

sure you can swap complete uppers to shoot 55 gr instead of 62 but why spend the extra money ?

most people will do that to shoot 9mm or 6.8mm.

did nikon japan dream this up?

do they know the difference between 1:7 and 1:9 twist?

wow, let's run out to the store and re-barrel to use this scope!

  • @tapper45

What'dya do, copy this dumbass comment to every Nikon vid you could find? A 1:9 shoots the 62 gr just fine and has done so for decades.

  • @FelixA9

    holy shit.

are you arguing that i said that a 1:9 twist WON'T shoot a 62 gr ok?

i never said it wouldn't genius.

i said the SCOPE WAS DESIGNED FOR 55 GR.

therefore the point of impact would be different whe switching from 62 to 55.

because it is designed for the 55 gr bullet the mildot divisions will be accurate when firing the 55 gr bullet.

it will not be as accurate with the 62 gr bullet.

god fucking damn learn to fucking read.

  • can anyone tell me what make ar15 that is at the start of the video when the guy John from Nikon is talking when sitting next to the rifle please before they start shooting because im trying to find out? please help!!!!

  • @beemer318coupe

DPMS Panther Bull Special in .223

  • @nikonvideos

Hey thanks for replying I was also wondering about the nikoplex reticle with the rapid action turret and can it be used on the prostaff or the monarch or is it just been used on the M-223 scope?

  • @nikonvideos Hi can ye please tell me who or what make of the .223 cal with the 55-grain polymer tipped bullets that ye are using for this scope??

  • I have had good experience with Nikon optics in the past and when I get an AR I think that I will get one of the 2-8 scopes.

  • nasty!
