I have been a member at La Mesa for over 10 years and for the last few years we have had a special track with Infra red sensors and a digital readout of the speed that we run our trains on to set the scale speed. All trains run at the same speed no matter the manufacterer so we never have a problem with our pushers, and all engines on that layout must be powered NO DUMMIES allowed. We are also DCC exclusive at the club trains have to be DCC or they wont work.
That is a VERY nice stack train you got going there. The second and third warbonnets look very realistic, extremely faded as they are nowadays. Very nice.
Very nice. Was flimed on the LaMesa club? Are your engines DCC? I take it the pushers are powered? If powered, any problems with the pushers bunchng the train and derailing the cars? I know, lots of questions. I working on my own Z train. Right now I'm building UPS trailers. Again, nice train.
