I just bought Invasion Iowa and watched the whole thing. It was done so well keeping it from the town and so well with alot of laughs. Shatner just flowed with it with ease. At the time I thought Invasion Iowa was one of the dumbest , most stupid, small little shows I've ever seen. I couldnt believe they were going into this poor town to do this. But I really look back at it now as creative and smart. And definitly worth watching, and of Course Mr Shatner is in it. :)

This was a sad show. You could tell how the original intent was to mock and ridicule these smalltown folk until it became apparent that Bill and the producers would come across as villains. So, at the last moment, what do you know? They suddenly switched gears in a lame attempt to endear themselves to the unsuspecting people before the big "reveal." Lame.
