(btw, just incase u dont know the game itself, the other girl is actually his twin sister that sacrificed herself to save him from the soldiers. Thats why he says he looks like her)

The translation is right, but the description of the game's plot was a little off: The girl was his childhood friend (it's implied there were romantic feelings between them, but it's an older game so it's harder to tell.) The soldiers/monsters came to kill him, since he was destined to become a great hero. She hid him in the cellar, and used a 'morph' spell to turn herself into him (the aformentioned magic words,) and let them kill her so that he/you/the hero could survive.
