Porsche's are not ugly! They do look traditional and I love that...I would pick 911 over the R8 anyday! Its is just a cute little car that can turn into a monster performance machine in street races, and sometimes on the track too! Just love porsches...

you shouldn't compare this with GTR, this car is RWD and designed for thrills in the racetrack with a wild butt kicking out most of the time. Still I wouldn't choose porsche untill they change the styling/shape, I'm very sick(as in bored) of it!

Hmm kind of weird being that they have looked the same for over 10 years now. The 996 is the only Porsche version that looked somewhat different and that's only the light. To be honest they are getting boring when it comes to looks. Porsches dont even draw a double take anymore, unless it's a Carrera GT.

Buy a Ferrari, .. enjoy the sticky gears, so-so syncros, 2nd rate workmanship, and simply ridiculous maintenance for a modern sports car. Ferrari has come a long way from the trash they made in the 80's (I was an owner then), but Porsche has always been an easy sports car to keep up. Porsche body hasn't changed in 10 years? You haven't been looking close enough..

No way jose the r8 does not have better numbers. Besides in the Porsche you get that nice front and rear spoiler and an awesome sounding engine that revs past 9000 RPMs. The R8 V10 is better, but it's a lot more expensive.
