HOWEVER, I am very much looking forward to Ridley Scott's new movie 'Prometheus',,, I'm hoping its an Alien movie, or something.... It's gotta be good,, cause Ridley made it..... :D

What I didn't like about the movie was that it was always too dark and difficult to see the characters and it was too bloody. That's what I dislike about horror movies is that it's always in complete darkness. I understand they wanna scare you and create the suspense but it just doesn't work with this film. I like how they created the predalien but the movie itself was too plain. Although, I did like the first one.

PLEASE PLEASE 20th Century Fox stop making these awful AVP movies. You are making these once great sci-fi movie icons into a laughing stock, all because you care more about money and not about quality. Predators although not as bad as the AVP films was also a dissapointment. If you want to make more films, get Ridley Scott or James Cameron to do it. For the love of god don't give the rights to bloody Paul Anderson or some other no name director so they can bastardise this series further!!!

Since I first read the plot I knew it would ultimately fail. Sure, it has great action scenes, that did save this movie, but it has a very bad plot. I hope that if another sequel would be made, it will have a plot similar to the games, the plot is what made the games great, even today ppl are playing AVP or AVP 2 even though it's graphics suck now, but the great plot remains.

AVPR takes place RIGHT after the first. Based on its beginning(PredAlien comin out of Predator) you can see that. So its like.....AVP but REALLY long. Same year. Just right after the fight in the pyramid. lol.

While I agree that AvP is ruining Alien and it's sequels, it would make sense they could kill them so easily. The Pulse Rifles in Aliens were like Predator gadgets a billion times removed, and Preds are warriors trained from birth.

The first movie in this series, "Alien" is still by far the best. Aliens (the second one) was an acceptable sequel but all these trashy sequels/remakes are just recycling . . .

If you like watching stupid actors get their faces beaten in with no plot worth mentioning, this is he movie for you! Watch the first one if you want to see an actually scary and interesting film.
