I've been to BOTH and personally I found New Zealand and it's people alot more inviting. New Zealand is a green, utterly GORGEOUS gem of a country, whereas most of Australia is a desert with the highest world-wide incidence of skin cancer known to humankind. Give me NEW ZEALAND any old day!

That's because there is a hole in the ozone layer above Antarctica, and we are on the outer edge of it in Australia where it is a lot thinner.

Well that  is correct, but Australia has a lot warmer climate (especially up north) and typically spend more time out and about in the sun at the beach etc.

If you're not retarded and use Sunscreen on high UV count days you will be fine.
