Heavens to Murgatroid! I've always loved this theme song...exciting & sexy, just like the show! Did anyone look better in leather on TV than the sexy but yet intelligent Mrs Peel? Hubba hubba to the max, daddy-o! And the always suave & debonair Patrick Macnee did everything with an engaging twinkle in his eye. THANKS for sharing this delightful "blast from the past" with us! :)

The 1968-69 theme is being used with photos of Diana Rigg-Emma Peel from 1965-67.

That is true. I got the song off of The Avengers soundtrack that came out recently and the version that was featured was from the Tara King era. But the song is basically the same as from the Emma Peel era.

Yes like Polkadotbox2 said,This was also way past my bedtime,as it came on at 10.35pm when repeated, so used to creep down to watch it,after gran had retired for the night. Never did get caught. However much preferred the brick in a handbag style .of Linda Thorson as Tara King.
