The first step into doing something is recognizing that British colonialism played tribes off against one another, and that the U.N is ran by the very same governments that colonized, raped, robbed, exploited, and enslaved Africa. Yes, education is the first step. So not to call on these same governments to "help" the Darfur conflict, or the neo-colonial regimes of Africa.

Education is the first step towards solving the problem. Educate yourself. This is not a religious conflict. This is a racial genocide. The beef the janjaweed have with the African tibal people has nothing to do with their practicing faith. The Janjaweed have exhibited no actions aligning with any faith that God would smile upon. These are sadists and war criminals of the worst crime. You'd be hard pressed to find another Muslim who would call these people one of their own.
