i noticed that the reason of the slanting is actually the heat - the most uneven ones are the F4-F6 keys, which are the closest to the hottest part of the upper part. the 13" models are especially prone to this, having only one fan in the middle.

anyway you are brilliant. simple little idea, but works perfectly.

shit i wouldn't even try to fix that if i bought one brand new and it had that issue i'd be like send me a new computer i've actually had to do that before because i bought a brand new one and the screen was scratched up new in box they said i scratched it on purpose i was like oh yeah i scratched my $2000 computer for shits and giggles but really replace my computer after i argued enough they FINALLY sent a replacement

i see that issue on several keys on my macbook. but you get used to it. plus the plastic quality on the 2008 macbook keyboard is stingy cheap!

The new aluminum Macbooks are very pretty and sturdy but the keyboards of all macbooks suck. I'm a longtime IBM user and cannot get over the cheep Macbooks keyboards. I guess for one who has never known any better, it is OK, but not for me.
