Not a bad video, but the F-16D was NOT in TOP GUN. Nor was the F/A-18, but the F-4 was about the same time period, but was not in the movie. o.O

@shotgunshells64 Its a light effect, usually models that don't have a default afterburner effect use an addon effect, the addon effect for the F/A-18 is from a updated Kirk Olsson F-16 "afterburner" light effect. Open the aircraft.cfg and you can change the positions and add more lights for more realism.

@spyromatt well actually what he means is the SHIT graphics and, in reality it isn't landable. The only thing that makes fighters landable on carriers is the cables and tailhook. You need acceleration for a good Top Gun video on FSX. In real life you would be dead on takeoff yet alone landing :-) gladfully as this isn't related to Top Gun alot. Only the song, F-14 and carrier, F-4 are the only real things that relate. The F-18's, Blue Angels aren't anything to do with Top Gun. Bad FA/18 aswell.
