I took many pictures of the 3 GP18's while they still worked on the NYS&W. The close up shots of the 1802's horn look like a K5 series (from what I know) with the flat bracket and spread out mounting (not clustered together tightly). The horns on all 3 of them have sounded odd since they were moved from the cab roof back to the dynamic brake blister, suspected is the flexible hose used to get the air from the original air fitting back to the new location.
@49MCURLL49 i miss hearing that horn, i live near their northern nj line i grew up listening to the railroad most of my life i use to live like 5 or 6 houses away from they tracks now i live like less than a mile.
@mike92586 I also grew up with the 3 GP18's and was fortunate enough to become an engineer and run them before they were replaced by the leased GP38-2's. Several engineers have noticed that the 38's have a hard time living up to our expectations after having used the 18's for the same work. 1800 & 1802 have their 567 engines upgraded to 645-D1 while the 1804 had engine troubles and got a replacement engine that I believe is just a regular 567. They are missed. I hope they last another 49 years.
Nice man! When do they usually make the run from Coatesville to Elsmere? I've seen them a few times but I can never remember when.

@lukasfols1 no that's a RS3K. the two U23B GE units (2202 and 2204) on the LANO branch have the same sounding horn, except they're pitched higher.
