Holy shit... he's playing the Don Juan Fantasy!!! This is priceless footage of him having fun, and yet it's pure gold coming out of the piano. Just fooling around and it's large one of the best introductions I've heard. Interesting to see how he does the left hand trills from the introduction.
@Classicmozayfull You're right: I thought about that many times, especially when I had the lucky chance to spend some time in company of a great and celebrated artist; and thinking of who we could potentially walk past in each ordinary day of our life is quite disturbing…
(Sorry for the language, I wrote this comment precipitately.)
I believe Horowitz graduated from the conservatory with the Don Juan which had his whole class on their feet when he finished it. There are things Horowitz does musically that leaves one breathless. I am not even sure he knows consciously what he will do next. The score is deeply embedded. How he did it is a mystery of the human mind and heart and of genius.

Does anyone know what he plays from 1:22 to 1:38? It's not Don Juan -- pianistically it doesn't even sound like Liszt, but what do I know ...

@kasyapa
I had absolutely the same shock of unbelieving. What a pity that only a piano roll otherwise exists!
Thanks a lot, goodmanmusica, for sharing this absolute treasure.
