Carillo? So what if she has won a major! She has no right to judge another player, especially when he's at the start of his career. Roger Federer had just about the same temper, but nobody criticizes him now. He got his act together, and now, is among the best to play the sport. I'm not implying that Harrison will rise to greatness, but come on, he's 19!! I think he should make his mistakes and learn from them.

@GirlPaint carillo is an idiot. her only talent was her friendship with mcenroe. when she was commentating on the 2000 us open, when mcenroe said that safin or hewitt would be no. 1 by the end of that year, she turned to dick endberg and asked him incredulously, did you hear what he just said!? and in fact both became no. 1 that year, and hewitt ended the year as no. 1 as far as i know. carillo isn't qualified to commentate on tennis, and particularly not on men's tennis.

Disclaimer:  I dislike both Carillo and Gimelstob. That being said, I like Gimel's answer to this, which is hard for me to say. Harrison was being "Mr. Cranky Pants" in this match, and he had to grow up if he wants to be the best he can be, but who are we to decide if something was warning-worthy or not? That is the chair umpire's job, not Lazy-Boy critics.
