Hell yeah. I know that it is the fruit. Let me tell you something: I play guitar, i searched for music (and lessons) on youtube and I found a guy named Justin Sandercoe. He learned me how to play "Save Tonight". He (and he is definitely a native speaker) didnt know if it is either "Sjerry" or "Tjerry".

The "Ch" part of cherry is pronounced "chuch" just like the "ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes" bit in the David Bowie song, if that helps? Although Eagle-Eye and his sister Neneh are Scandinavian, I think their father is American and they grew up for a time in England.
