I came home from school today and I saw my budgie flat o the cage, I saw his feet closed, as I looked at his paled grey lifeless eyes I bursted into tears but then he closed his eyes. Birds have souls! Especially the parrot branch of the bird tree! They're more sweet, kind, loyal and yes, noble than most of the people on this planet! If there's no birds (or dogs) in heaven I'D RATHER SPEND TIME IN HELL!!! Heaven would be hell without birds and dogs. I'm open to cats, but really, they'd have to be on their best behavior. No teasing dogs, no scaring birds...

cokyazici, my dearest baby Tweety just dide on Friday. He was 7 months old & the sweetest thing that u could ever imagine. I just made a slide show of him. the last 7 pictures were from the day b4 he passed. I did all that I could do 2 save him, we took him 2 the Avian Clinic a few towns over & had him in an incubator, oxygen, antibiotics, valium, fluids, & i made sure he was never alone or in pain. I hope that ure heart heals... I no how hard it is 2 loose ure baby... especially 1 so close ='(

We took her to the vet To do tests but It was to late we had to have her put down *cries eyes out* Im sorry, I told her i was so sorry for what I was allowing the vet to do. when she died she looked at me with her lifeless eyes like she forgave me i took her body home i could not help it but i ended up embraceing her lifeless body Crying My eyes out Wanting her back. I don't recall if I ever commented on this video but Jibijip is not forgotten, he is my Ira's first budgie friend that he sees on his daily views of a youtube playlist just for budgies. Ira now vocalizes much more often and calls Jibijip "budgie budgie bird" everytime he see him on the screen. How nice that you got to enjoy a special bird like him. Cheers, Ira and Heather (cg).

This is so sad. My budgie Sacha, just died tonight and I feel so heartbroken and guilty. He was one of a pair, same as this video, he was blue and the other, a female, Erica is all white. They're named after my boyfriend and me. They loved each other, always 'kissing' and cleaning each other, now she is alone. Sacha died so suddenly and it was awful, he just dropped from his perch and started twitchin and trying to walkwe phoned vet but it was too late. I'm going to miss him so much. RIP Sacha.
@BrunetteBarbie21 I've been reading up after the vet told us over the phone that the cause of my budgies sudden illness and eventually death was Teflon. Teflon is on non-stick pans and heating the pan when cooking appraently causes toxic vapours to come. My mother in law used ones of these today even though the budgies cage is in another, well ventilated room it still killed him. I'm so angry they don't think to warn you at the pet shop. DONT USE TEFLON!!
My parakeet Cookie died. *sigh* I cried. she was Yellow. And hadn't had her adult feathers yet. she was growing them. When she died she was laying on the grate. Mr. Pickles didn't even care. He was so hungry. but sometimes Pickles and Cookie groomed each other. That's when they showed love. I thought they were gonna mate when they were older. Cause they were little. I guess Mr.Pickles meh green budgie is lonely.

i know how you feel... my African Senagel died a week before christmas. He fell into some toxic water during the night and drowned. There was no sign of Illness. and just recently our bird Tom died from liver failure and open sores from the previous owners. We have his brother Huck which he was mal-nurished, burned, open sores on his chest from falling, and the previous owners starved the poor darlings.
i am so sorry...i know what you feel. i one time had a very tame budgie...he loved me soo much...everytime i went to the cage my sweet little bird would fly to the door and then when i opened it he would fly onto my shoulder and put his head against my neck...the way he died is a little simular...he was sick and my mother and father said tehy didn't have any money...he was losing his feathers and he went on the cage floor...my female bird(his mate) knew it so she was sqeaking and was chirping.

he was perfectly fine one day and then in the morning i woke up and he was on the floor chirping and chiping and then i picked him up and he was cuddeling in my arm, i checked if he cld walk and wen i put hum down he opened his wings and come crawling back to me :'( i had to brry him :'( ( and wen parakyle died my other yellow bird daylight saw him and he dies write in mi hand i saw at him and he saw at me and his eyes faded ..
When I was 13 mum and I got a blue baby budgie and he must have been sick when we got him. We took him to the vet and the vet said he had this infection but he couldn't do anything about it, 2 days later Bobby flew over to me from his cage and hopped on my foot. I put him on my shoulder and he cuddled my neck. I just cuddled him for the next couple of hours and then he started having convulsions and past away. It was so sad. I'm just glad we could give him so much love those 2 weeks
i have a parakeet named realish hes green i have a purple parakeet named grape and my most loved parakeet dimond is died i have had her ever seince she was born she died in her b day last year in summer im so sad im still crying .she was pregnant and was 7 years old the vet got the egg out and it hatchet a couple weeks ago we had to put a huge furry cover over her egg and now tamarindo is born . I lost my Spanky budgie May 23, 2007. He was a noisy funny bird and knew so many naughty words, we just loved him. We tried to hard to get him well and I think he may have had megabacteria too. It just killed me not to be able to help him, I took him to work with me every day for months so he would not be alone, and the last thing he did was open his eyes and take a step toward me. He died so suddenly and I cried for weeks. This made me cry again. They are like angels these birds. so loving.
BOTH of my budgies died today :( they are only 1 year old and we took good care of them...i don't understand how and why we juz woke up and they are lying dead in bottom...crying :(
two years ago i bought a white female for my blue baby and she died a year ago and they used to do that together, but now hes alone and he cuddles me and it makes me cry because i know hes not hapy alone.
That was a very sad story. I almost cried. I love budgies my self so much i passed through this too , when my female budgie died. I feel sad i didnt acord her as much atention as i did and still do to my male one. They once fighted but they seemed ok. The next day in the morning my female budgies right leg was broke she couldnt walk. I dont know why but i didnt go to a vet. that time. So half a week later , when i woke up to school. I found her with her legs up. Buried her the same day. :(
Thiz video made me have tears to my eyes. I just found a budgie in my backyard just lying there scared. So I bought a cage for her and kept her warm right now she's always sleeping and tierd I bought her some food and gave him vitamin tablets. Hopefully she recovers and I'll keep her. RIP.

I had an appointment at an avian vet the day my dear Jibijip died, but I didn't go because I felt in my heart he was going to die that day, and I didn't want him to die on the way to the vet.

know that with all pets they were lucky to have us to love and care for them and we were lucky to have them to enrich our lives and give us back that love.. only an animal lover and owner knows the true love we have for these little creatures...they are our friends when we have none...i refuse to believe animals don't have souls.

Just watched your other video of Jibijip. This one is so touching, too. It was so nice of you that even after you bought him and realized he was sick you didn't take him back. Most people would have. Instead you helped him and he showed you such unconditional love. And, he knew you were helping him. Animals can appreciate our help when they are hurting. And, ofttimes, they help us a lot more than we help them. I'm sorry for your loss, but you were blessed the days you had him. Peace.
Awh. my budgie Joey died today. We think it was a respitory infection or a sudden heartattack. His legs and wings just gave up on him and he died pretty much in my arms. Rest In Peace baby Jojo. =( I know how you feel about Jibijip. Joey got sick last Winter but pulled through, and 2 winters ago his mate Sasha died. RIP Joey, Sasha, and Jibijip. They're flying together with the angels now. x

This is so sad. My budgie Sacha, just died tonight and I feel so heartbroken and guilty. He was one of a pair, same as this video, he was blue and the other, a female, Erica is all white. They're named after my boyfriend and me. They loved each other, always 'kissing' and cleaning each other, now she is alone. Sacha died so suddenly and it was awful, he just dropped from his perch and started twitchin and trying to walkwe phoned vet but it was too late. I'm going to miss him so much. RIP Sacha.

@BrunetteBarbie21 I've been reading up after the vet told us over the phone that the cause of my budgies sudden illness and eventually death was Teflon. Teflon is on non-stick pans and heating the pan when cooking appraently causes toxic vapours to come. My mother in law used ones of these today even though the budgies cage is in another, well ventilated room it still killed him. I'm so angry they don't think to warn you at the pet shop. DONT USE TEFLON!!

My parakeet Cookie died. *sigh* I cried. she was Yellow. And hadn't had her adult feathers yet. she was growing them. When she died she was laying on the grate. Mr. Pickles didn't even care. He was so hungry. but sometimes Pickles and Cookie groomed each other. That's when they showed love. I thought they were gonna mate when they were older. Cause they were little. I guess Mr.Pickles meh green budgie is lonely.

i know how you feel... my African Senagel died a week before christmas. He fell into some toxic water during the night and drowned. There was no sign of Illness. and just recently our bird Tom died from liver failure and open sores from the previous owners. We have his brother Huck which he was mal-nurished, burned, open sores on his chest from falling, and the previous owners starved the poor darlings.

i am so sorry...i know what you feel. i one time had a very tame budgie...he loved me soo much...everytime i went to the cage my sweet little bird would fly to the door and then when i opened it he would fly onto my shoulder and put his head against my neck...the way he died is a little simular...he was sick and my mother and father said tehy didn't have any money...he was losing his feathers and he went on the cage floor...my female bird(his mate) knew it so she was sqeaking and was chirping.

When I was 13 mum and I got a blue baby budgie and he must have been sick when we got him. We took him to the vet and the vet said he had this infection but he couldn't do anything about it, 2 days later Bobby flew over to me from his cage and hopped on my foot. I put him on my shoulder and he cuddled my neck. I just cuddled him for the next couple of hours and then he started having convulsions and past away. It was so sad. I'm just glad we could give him so much love those 2 weeks

I feel sorry for both of them because now my white parakeet dont kno that he died and keeps on calling for him. Now Tune is burried in my back yard so I coud always keep him in my heart

I cried so hard when I read how he died... But I think he's gratefull for this nice memorial video of him..... I also made me realise how much I love my own budgie Pjuske who's 4 years old... He's a nice little budgie and flies down on my table, keyboard and hand when I'm on the PC but he has a tendancy to bite me even thou' I do nothing to scare him... I just down know what's wrong..

my birds died i had 4 budgies and a really big cage i always took care of them, my birds looked like urs white and ur blue one but i also had a purple and green one the green one died after like a month of having him then when my friend came over the day my blue bird died when my friend left the blue one was dead but what relly makes me sad is that one day i was getting ready to go to school and i found my purple and white budgie on the floor with they're eyes open. well im sorry about ur bird

Aww, this made me cry. Poor baby Jibijip. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine the pain you must still be feeling. I lost my Spanky budgie May 23, 2007. He was a noisy funny bird and knew so many naughty words, we just loved him. We tried to hard to get him well and I think he may have had megabacteria too. It just killed me not to be able to help him, I took him to work with me every day for months so he would not be alone, and the last thing he did was open his eyes and take a step toward me. He died so suddenly and I cried for weeks. This made me cry again. They are like angels these birds. so loving.

That was a very sad story. I almost cried. I love budgies my self so much i passed through this too , when my female budgie died. I feel sad i didnt acord her as much atention as i did and still do to my male one. They once fighted but they seemed ok. The next day in the morning my female budgies right leg was broke she couldnt walk. I dont know why but i didnt go to a vet. that time. So half a week later , when i woke up to school. I found her with her legs up. Buried her the same day. :(

Thiz video made me have tears to my eyes. I just found a budgie in my backyard just lying there scared. So I bought a cage for her and kept her warm right now she's always sleeping and tierd I bought her some food and gave him vitamin tablets. Hopefully she recovers and I'll keep her. RIP.

I had an appointment at an avian vet the day my dear Jibijip died, but I didn't go because I felt in my heart he was going to die that day, and I didn't want him to die on the way to the vet.

Just watched your other video of Jibijip. This one is so touching, too. It was so nice of you that even after you bought him and realized he was sick you didn't take him back. Most people would have. Instead you helped him and he showed you such unconditional love. And, he knew you were helping him. Animals can appreciate our help when they are hurting. And, ofttimes, they help us a lot more than we help them. I'm sorry for your loss, but you were blessed the days you had him. Peace.

Awh. my budgie Joey died today. We think it was a respitory infection or a sudden heartattack. His legs and wings just gave up on him and he died pretty much in my arms. Rest In Peace baby Jojo. =( I know how you feel about Jibijip. Joey got sick last Winter but pulled through, and 2 winters ago his mate Sasha died. RIP Joey, Sasha, and Jibijip. They're flying together with the angels now. x
