You know, even if it WASN'T a girl who totally kicked ass, there are still ways to make females interesting characters. Even if Miss Meyer made Bella like Nagisa from Clannad who is the weakest little thing in all of anime but still has a strong will, Bella would have been a lot more interesting. Ugh. I could hardly even make it past the first chapter of Bella's whining! D:

cool rant, it's kind of sad that it's not only Vampires that Miss Meyer has officially made unscary, it's Werewolves too, i mean the "werewolves" in Twilight, when they transform, they just look like big wolves, that's it, no painful transformation or any humanoid qualities, not to mention they can transform in the day, no full moon. She's made being or turning into a terrifying creature of the night look not so bad...oh and even Louie from Interview with a Vampire could kick Edwards ass lol.

yeah at least Louie cracked a smile every 1nce and a while lol i think that if Miss Meyer called both Edward's clan and Jacob's clan something different, then maybe it wouldn't be such a travesty, i mean there are more Fantasy creatures that transform from human to animal and some creatures that drink blood that aren't Vampires, do you think it would have been better if Miss Meyer did that? also how's the husband? lol I'm a big fan of Gackt Camui :)

what about finding out that he is going to be in a Hollywood film called "Bunraku"? alongside Josh Hartnett, Demi Moore, Ron Perlman and many others, also the film "Moonchild" that he and his friend Hyde starred in, that film has a True Vampire in it, I'd love to meet the guy, at least 1nce but then again if i ever make 1 of my games I'm cooking up in my head (featuring MANY creatures and LOTS of other stuff) I'd have Gackt as 1 of the characters you'll (at some point) play as :D

LOL, I watched moonchild a long time ago. At the time I thought it was the greatest thing ever because of Gackt and Hyde. But now that I look at it from a regular point of view, the whole premise is really random and silly.

That's the thing with a ot of Japanese action films, they always end in tragedy for no rhyme or reason really. I did cry when I first saw it, but watching it again I'm like " WHy/ What's the point in killing everyone off?"

Vampires should never twinkle!!! I will admit I saw the movie. The only good part and I do mean the ONLY good part was the whole baseball part. But what made me mad was the "fight" between Ed and the other guy, forgot the name, I thought "Sweet, a vampire fight. This is going to be good." But no what I saw could not be called a vampire fight. I was so displeased I think shaved ten years off my life because I saw that movie.

You go, girl! I can't stand the series either. I tried to read through it, but I hit a mental block and haven't been able to get past book one. And from what I've heard, it's super angsty and with lots of emo stuff, so not really my thing anyway. Nice to know that it's not just me!
